powdery mold

Recommended Posts

There is a serious problem that affects many people who grow and that is powdery mildew. with this list of ingredients it should keep it in check. start with 32 ounces or 2 litres of cold distilled water using a spray bottle (preferably one that you pump air into and has an adjustable nozzle the finer the spray the more effective it will be) add half the water then add the ingedients so you can make the final amount total 32 ounces or 2 litres of spray solution. add half of a teaspoon of baking soda, 2 drops of dish soap or 4 tablespoons of dutch masters penetrator, 10 mL of advanced nutrients scorpion juice, neem oil (every neem oil brand has a different amount to add) using a small kitchen funnel will help to keep this from getting messy especially neem oil! first remove all the leaves that have mold if possible. screw the sprayer onto the bottle and shake very well. using cold water and neem oil will help to get rid of bugs like spider mites and aphids during flowering dont use either. turn off your lights and fans and spray the bottoms and the tops of the leaves and the stalks until it starts to drip off. run your fans for 7 or 8 minutes (longer with neem oil) and then turn your lights back on. this helps to dry the plants faster but may put orange spots on the leaves so i just leave the lights off until its dry but the goal here is to get the plants dry fast. this spray changes the ph. of the plant matter and discourages mold and the scorpion juice strengthens your plants natural defenses so it makes it tougher for the mold to grow in the first place. i hope this helps everyone, mold sucks.
