I tried some dragon force with her before she got the chop. 
I think she liked it. 
right now she is hung upside down by her main stem in my boiler cupboard where she will stay until Saturday, that will make it 7 days hung to dry still all in one piece. 

I will keep you updated on the cure & smoke report over the next few weeks.

This run has been my proudest so far!

She looks so beautiful now she's dried and I managed to pull 58g Dry buds from her! Way more than I expected, when I squeeze the buds they keep their shape & make your fingers so sticky.

as for the smell so far I must say at this point I'm not overly impressed, I'm getting a slight spicy citrus haze smells but not anything that is knocking my socks off just yet. 
i hung her upside down whole for around 5 days then I trimmed her down when the main stems and stalks were snapping and placed them into a cardboard box, after a day or so I popped them into airtight containers but have now put them into a paper bag for a few days and will go back to the containers again until  satisfied.

im storing the buds in the boiler cupboard in my home where the temperature and humidity are perfect I'm keeping my eye on the hydrometer readings throughout also. 
in a few more weeks I will make a proper smoke report. 
 

this stage for me is the most testing and trying for me! 
the patience & attention to detail makes my head hurt!  
after a few more goes at the dry/cure process and I'm sure it won't bother me anymore 😂

Dark Phoenix ~ Smoke Report:

This was my best run so far buy miles!! 
I dried her in her whole form, hung upside down for a few days then when I thought she was dry to the touch I started to breaking her down & trim each bud then used the cardboard box method for another few days, then I put it all in air tight jars & burped once a day for about a week. 
 

this one smells DIVINE when cured! 
A beautiful citrus haze that makes your mouth drool on the exhale. 
nice resin rings on your joints the further down you get the drippier it gets and white ash as standard! 
I have a "guy" who I usually source my cannabis from & I decided to be brave & gave him a few grams to taste, 

he txt me twice asking if I had more of it to sell to him! And that just really made me smile!! 
if he thought it was good enough that he wanted to have more to sell made me beam with pride! 
 

so my overall report for the Dark Phoenix is 12/10 

she ticks every box for me, from seed to smoke she is a wonder who requires time & patience to truly enjoy and appreciate her true potential. 
she will be in my tent for the foreseeable future as I'm enjoying her so much I have one in flower & one in veg as we speak. 
she's worth all the time & effort. 
give her a try, you won't be disappointed 💚💯
