I started to germinate some beans on Sunday 13th June 2021.

I put 4 beans between damp kitchen roll and put them in a drawer in the dark.

Two days later on the 15th of June 2021 three of the beans have split their shell cases.

15june-2021-3-beans-popped.thumb.jpg.822df0f3d2858842e43f40a1c29cae20.jpg

The next day 16th of June 2021 the tap root on one of the beans was long enough to place into a root sponge.

The bean on the left has not even cracked its shell case so far and the been on the far right popped its shell case but then stalled and it looks like it has dropped out, so I placed the last of the 5 Chemical Bride beans between the damp kitchen roll.

The following day the 17th of June 2021 the tap root on the second bean was long enough to put it into a root plug.

The following day 18th of June 2021 the fifth bean cracked its shell casing and the tap root was visible.

On the 19th of June 2021 the tap root on the fifth bean was long enough to put it into a root plug.

I had a look at my bean stash and decided to pop a Green House Cheese bean, so I placed a Green House Cheese bean between some fresh damp kitchen paper and place it in the drawer in the dark.

On the 22nd of June 2021 the Green House Cheese bean had germinated and the tap root was long enough to place into a root plug.

I then place the root plug with the Chemical Bride seedlings under the fluorescent tube.

Four days later on the 26th of June 2021 the Green House Cheese had caught up and grown to the same size as the Chemical Bride seedlings under the fluorsecent tube.

All of the seedlings are growing well and on the 28th of June 2021 they all had decent root growth so I put them into plastic pots.

I let the girls have a week to get used to being in the grow tent under the LED and then on the 11th of July 2021 I put them into the root pouches I had used for the Kings Juice plants that I cleaned with the pressure washer the day before.

I put the plants in a bucket and then took them outside to the shed and put them into the root pouches.

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at week 6 of veg.

On Wednesday I mixed 3ml per litre of grow feed and 3ml per litre of root stimulant and I made 2 litres of the feed solution and then I gave each plant 400ml of the solution.

Then on Saturday I gave each plant 500ml of water and on Sunday I took some photos and topped the plants.

I will let them continue to veg and recover until the end of the month and them get them flowering, I am well pleased with their progress, I have no idea which is the Green House Cheese I forgot to mark it, all will be revealed in the fullness of time.

Happy growing... 👍

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at week 7 of veg.

On Tuesday I mixed 3ml per litre grow feed and 3ml per litre root stimulant gave each plant 700ml of the feed solution and then I put them back into the grow tent under the LED to continue soaking up the rays.

Yesterday the dirt in the root pouches was dry and all of the plants felt light so I gave them all 1 litre of water.

Here are some images I took this afternoon.

25july-2021-cb-new-growth.thumb.jpg.3ac4a588c0d18e368d926565fce67237.jpg

All of the plants have responded well since I topped them they just carried on regardless, I think the Co2 has helped with this and the heat the top temperature in the tent in the day has been 30C I have kept the tent door unzipped at the bottom to help air flow, as well as having all the windows open and the extractor fan in the tent running,.

I am glad the weather has cooled down over the past couple of days, despite the fact it did not seem to affect the plants, it was well hot here in the UK, its been tropical.

The Super Lemon Haze and Sweet Mango are now in week 8 of flowering, according to the information on the GHS web store the flowering period is 7 weeks so as soon as the dirt in the root pouches is dry I will harvest them.

According to the weather forecast the warm sunny weather will change later in the week and the bud on both plants is as fat as it is gonna be, so its time to cut, I am looking forward to checkin the Super Lemon Haze it smells great.

More updates to follow, happy growing. 👍

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at the end of week 7 of veg.

All of the plants are growing and building lots of nodes, two are taller and two are more compact with tighter internodes.

On Tuesday 27th of July the dirt in the root pouches was dry and all of the plants felt nice and light, so I mixed 3ml per litre of grow feed and 3ml per litre of root stimulant, I mixed 3 litres of the feed solution and then I gave each plant 1500ml of the feed solution.

Then on Saturday 31st of July the dirt in the root pouches was dry and the girls were well ready for a drink, so I gave them all 2 litres of water and then I put them back into the grow tent.

Here are some images of the plants I took before I watered them yesterday afternoon.

Now we are in August it is time to get the girls into flower so I have set the bloom switch on the LED to the on position to provide full spectrum light and I have reset the timer so the LED goes off at 18.30pm instead of 00.30am and the girls are on a 12/12 photoperiod for the next 8 or 9 weeks.

I will continue with the grow feed as per the Plant Magic feed scehdule for the first 2 weeks of flowering, because they will be stretching and as such still growing and building structure to hang the bud from.

Last Tuesday the dirt in the root pouches of the Super Lemon Haze and Sweet Mango autos was dry and the hot sunny weather was forecast to end I decided that the bud was not going to increase much by the weekend, so I cut and harvested the plants.

The Super Lemon Haze is on the left and the Sweet Mango is on the right.

01aug-2021-slh-sm-harvested.thumb.jpg.430b1ea910ee82cdd6aadeba3d581560.jpg

With hindsight it turned out to be a good choice to harvest the weather went downhill fast and it went cool and we had some really heavy rain for a couple days, so I was well glad I had harvested them.

The plants have turned out like bonzai 🤣, I think that when I moved them outside it stressed them and they shot into flower, although the Sweet Mango was taller the Super Lemon Haze was older by about a week.

I just stripped off the fan leaves at the nodes and cut the main stems and then I brought them in and hung them on the twisted string lines in my little bathroom to dry, for the first 2 days there was a nice aroma in the bathroom and on the landing, but now the bud is drying the smell is not as strong.

Due to the small size of the plants I did not bother to trim the sugar leaves around the buds, I just hung them up to dry, I am looking forward to smoking the Super Lemon Haze I have not smoked it before, I love the Sweet Mango I have done 2 runs in the past, so I am looking forwards to checking it out again as soon as it is dry.

Happy growing... 👍

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at the end of week 1 and the start of week 2 of flowering.

All of the plants are growing well and building lots of new nodes with some stretching as they enter the flowering phase.

On Tuesday 03rd August the dirt in the root pouches was dry and they felt light so I mixed 3ml per litre of root stimulant and 3ml per litre of the grow feed, I mixed 8 litres of the feed solution and then I gave each plant 2 litres of the feed solution.

On Friday 06th August the dirt in the root pouches was dry and they all felt light so I gave them 2 litres of water each and then I put them back in the grow tent under the LED to soak up the rays.

Here are some photos of the plants that I took this afternoon.

I decided that I would defoliate the plants and then they can recover during the second week of flowering.

A heap of fan leaves from all of the plants

08aug-2021-cb-fan-leaves.thumb.jpg.2f18bcf36b85686fb522ae19e2485e36.jpg

I have ordered a couple of the TNB Naturals Enhancer refills to continue giving them Co2 during flowering.

The Super Lemon Haze and the Sweet Mango dried out on the stalk so I cut the buds off the stalks and put the Super Lemon Haze in a jar and the Sweet Mango in the plastic tub I use to germinate seeds.

So in total the yield from the plants was Super Lemon Haze 7.7g and the Sweet Mango 11.1g I like the Super Lemon Haze I will definitely have to run some of the photoperiod girls in the future at some time.

More updates to follow, happy growing... 👍

  • 2 weeks later...

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at the end of week 2 and the start of week 3 of flowering.

All of the Chemical Bride plants are growing well they seem to have slowed on the stretch and they are now building lots of buds.

They responded well after I defoliated them and removed all of the large fan leave to open the plants up and allow more light to penetrate the plants and reach the lower stalks.

I can actually tell which is the GH Cheese now she is a week older than the Chemical Bride girls so her bud is less developed compared with the buds on the Chemical Bride girls.

On Tuesday 10th of August I mixed 4ml per litre of grow feed per litre and 4ml per litre of root stimulant per litre, I mixed up 8 litres of the feed solution and then I gave each plant 2 litres of the feed solution each.

Then on Friday the dirt in the root pouches was dry and they all felt nice and light so I gave them all 2 litres of water each.

Here are some images of the girls that I took on Sunday afternoon.

I can now tell which is the GH Cheese because she is a week older than the Chemical Bride so she is only just starting to build buds.

17aug-2021-gh-cheese-bud-000.thumb.jpg.2ec72eea12c58a1e6b00a37c3cd97ce9.jpg

The TNB Naturals Enhancer was delivered on Friday afternoon, I refilled the dispenser on Sunday afternoon after I took the photos above of all the plants before closing up the tent for the day so they could soak up the Co2 and the rays from the LED.

17aug-2021-tnb-co2-refills.thumb.jpg.19582000f57c9027df5b53c19d7fcb88.jpg

On Monday the dirt in the root pouches was dry and they all felt nice and light so I mixed 3ml per litre of bloom feed and I mixed 8 litres of the bloom feed solution and then I gave each plant 2 litres of the feed solution.

At the end of the month I will pop some Lost Pearl beans for my next test run, then I need to give a few coats of thinking to which new strain I will grow after the Lost Pearl run, I am thinking about an Indica dominant strain then another Sativa dominant strain.

I am enjoying the Kings Juice at the moment it is a nice smoke in the day, and it's OK at night too, I loved the Cloud Walker I grew last year that was a really nice vibe I will have to run some indoors in the future.

Happy growing... 👍

The other 2 Chemical Bride plants look like they will be ready to feed and water either tomorrow or Tuesday.

This afternoon I also put the dehumidifier in the grow tent and set it to 45% humidity and the put black tape over the little LED's on the front of the dehumidifier so there is no light contamination during the dark period when the LED is off at night.

I am well pleased with the girls progress so far there should be a good yield from this run.

Happy growing... 👍

Looking great bruva, I found that using the humidifier at night was bad , I only run the humidifier with my lights on, I got a little bit of rust fungus and had to leaf strip, there is a big humidity spike when the lights go off,

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at the end of week 4 and the start of week 5 of flowering.

On Monday 23rd August the dirt in the root pouch of the 2nd tallest Chemical Bride sister was dry and the plant felt nice and light, so I mixed 3ml per litre bloom feed and 1ml per litre PK 4-8 mixed 2 litres which I then gave her before putting her back into the grow tent under the LED.

Then on Tuesday 24th August the dirt in the root pouch of the smallest Chemical Bride was dry and she felt nice and light so I mixed 3ml per litre bloom feed and 1ml per litre PK 4-8 mixed 2 litres which I then gave her and then I put her back into the grow tent.

On Thursday the 26th August the dirt in the root pouches of the Green House Cheese and the tallest Chemical Bride was dry and both plants felt nice and light so I gave them both 2 litres of water and then put them back into the grow tent under the LED.

On Friday 27th August the dirt in the root pouch of the 2nd tallest Chemical Bride was dry and she felt nice and light so I gave her 2 litres of water before I put her back into the grow tent for the day.

Yesterday Saturday 28th August the dirt in the root pouch of the smallest Chemical Bride was dry and she felt nice and light so I gave her 2 litres of water and then I put her back into the grow tent to soak up the rays from the LED.

This morning the dirt in the root pouches of the Green House Cheese and the tallest Chemical Bride sisters was nice and dry and they both felt light so I mixed 4ml per litre of bloom feed and 1.5ml per litre of the PK 4-8, I mixed 4 litres of the feed solution and then I gave each plant 2 litres of the solution.

I am pleased with this run all of the plants are growing well and building bud, they seem to be enjoying the TNB Naturals Enhancer, I still have one refill left, I will use it in the next couple of days and order a couple more of them.

More updates to follow, happy growing... 👍

Thanks for the update bro! Wow, those buds look delicious and they are still half flowering. Great job! Chemical Bride and Cheese, both very nice, they look great.

I wanted to ask you about the Super Lemon Haze, it should be pretty dry by now I think, have you smoked it yet, good smell and taste? I think you are starting Lost Pearl soon too, it will be great to see how they grow in your hands.

Have a nice day!

Inner luv for the kind words @Jose.gh I am well pleased with this run as you say those buds look nice at half way through flowering.

Yes I smoked the last spliff of Super Lemon Haze auto last week I had a nice lemony smell and taste I will have to get some photo period beans for a future run.

I will pop 4 Lost Pearl beans in the next couple of days to get my next test run going, then I need to give a few coats of thinking to which strain to test next 😁

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at the end of week 5 and the start of week 6 of flowering.

On Wednesday the dirt in the root pouch f the smallest Chemical Bride was dry and she felt light so I mixed 4ml per litre bloom feed and 1.5ml per litre PK 4-8 and I gave her 2 litres of the feed solution.

On Thursday the dirt in the root pouches of the GHC and the tallest Chemical Bride was dry and they both felt light so I gave them 2 litres of water and then put them back into the tent under the LED.

This morning the dirt in the root pouches of the GHC and the tallest Chemical Bride was dry and they felt light so I mixed 4ml per litre bloom feed and 1.5ml per litre PK 4-8 and then I gave each plants 2 litres of the feed solution.

I am well pleased with the girls they are all growing well and the bud is getting fat, this morning I ordered a couple more TNB Naturals Co2 refills ready to replace the current refill when it is depleted.

I did a little bit of defoliation this morning to remove fan leaves that have gone yellow to allow more light penetration on the GHC and the tallest Chemical Bride and the second tallest, the smallest is compact and still very green with just a few fan leaves low down within the canopy starting to go yellow so I let he be.

More updates to follow, happy growing... 👍

The bud on all of the Chemical Bride plants is getting nice and fat the plants had their last feed and now it is water only for the last two weeks of flowering.

Although the Green House Cheese is a week younger than the Chemical Bride sisters the bud is getting nice and fat.

I have successfully germinated 4 Lost Pearl beans and I now have 4 seedlings on an 18/6 photoperiod I will start a new journal in the next few days.

Happy growing... 👍 😁

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at the end of week 8 and the start of week 9 of flowering.

On Wednesday the dirt in the root pouches of the plants was dry so I gave them all 2 litres of water each.

Yesterday the dirt in the root pouches of all of the plants was dry and they felt light so I gave them all 2 litres of water.

The stalks on the second tallest of the Chemical Bride plants are heavy with bud so I have inserted 4 bamboo canes into the dirt in the root pouch and used some soft string to hold the stalks upright.

Here are some photos of the plants that I took just before I watered them yesterday.

I bought a new carbon filter I noticed that the filter is not as effective so I will probably change it at the point when I harvest when things get super smelly.

All of the girls are just getting water in these last 2 weeks of flowering and the bud is still getting nice and fat.

More updates to follow, happy growing... 👍
