watermelon wedding cake from Growers choice,

THC 25-30%, do you know if high THC comes from weddingcake.
Just that I am starting to think that terpenes could also be involved.

Flowering time indoor     9 weeks
Yield indoor     550-650 grams /m2
Mold resistance     Average
CBD     Medium
Flavour     Fruity. creamy cookies
Climate     Can take warm and cold climates
Height indoor     1.10 cm - 1.30 cm
Parents     Watermelon zkittlez x weddingcake
Genetics     70% indica - 30% sativa

Grown any Kings Banner XIII by Dark Horse Genetics?
Would be a good plant for Test Grow.

Sounds like a good mix of traits could be extracted for breeding.
Original Bruce Banner could offer higher THC then found to date.
Louie Dom is said to have medicinal potential, might help MS?

Not sure about the THC but I can say anything wedding cake is going to be frosty ,

I personally haven't grown any banner but dark horse is solid.

To be honest I don't pay any attention to THC numbers because I'm more interested in a wide spectrum of everything,

As long as it tastes good and hits good I'm ok with it, the numbers are just selling tactics, terp profile is important if you want real medicine,

Thanks for the interest , looking forward to seeing and talking more .

This is true, breeding  most potent plants in world will not necessarily create a world beater, or within several generations the THC records double.

The people I supply cannot understand this.
I have crossed stone fruit and worked with breeding.

Many people say, “You have to cough to get off”.
I can tell the difference between harsh and THC. Both Irritants.
How many people think that harsh smoke is high THC?
Effects on the brain due to oxygen, damage control going on in lungs.
while the bit of THC tickles throat with the effects of a high.

My point being, that many effects create a High, terpenes might be linked to potentially high THC in crosses.
If you cannot smoke as much, some like that idea, the strain persists.

So, I still seek the high THC potential for breading,
and other foundation plants  :)

After searching watermelon wedding cake and seeing 25-30% THC I contacted the shop,
said I was watching a test grow. Had not thought it through.

Anyway, look forward to seeing watermelon wedding cake.
If only a seed would produce 25% I would be happy.
But nothing I have grown has matched prior skunk.
The Gorilla is good.
But the skunk had large heads, was stronger and consistant out of season.

Home Breed, Last of Skunk seed Plant.

Something that users have mentioned and I also experienced, you could keep getting high each smoke:
If you have plans or worries before smoke, 30-45 minutes after smoke you are off doing something else,
and ask yourself “How did I get here?” It takes you away, even after smoking it for a year the effect remained.
After 3 years growing Skunk Cuttings, something made the seedlings flower and revert no longer worked.

So I polinated the Skunk female Cuttings with a Haze/Skunk hybrid.
Resultant seed incl hermies plants, I would need to grow these seeds alone for season to check results.

Right now I have 3 Vine Males releasing Pollen in two separate grows.

The Females are Bruce Banner, Gorilla, Vine X Gorilla, Small Vine, and Medium Vine.

The first batch of these strains is receiving pollen from Vine called “LOG” (Short Fat Male).
The Second batch of mostly the same strains is receiving pollen from the 2 Tall Vine Males.

After the previous experience of low seed viability or compatibility issues, I am trying to increase likelihood of successful cross.

Been a lot of work to make it happen.
But happy days ahead.

One breeding plant above, "FERN" (Vine x Gorilla) had the growth issue between opposite and alternating branching. FERN was also my pick for a possible super strain.

Early flower it smelt of mild Diesel a little stronger than Gorilla, now it has very strong blueberry smell.

FERN is going to be troublesome for cuttings, so the backcross breeding is my best hope.
Not a win yet, but I will make it happen.

Look forward to seeing this watermelon grow, it has some visual similarites with FERN :)

FERN is seeded very heavy, smoke sample could be hard to find.
Strong berry, like gorilla the leaf has little THC. Vine/father is all greasy.
Flowers a little bigger than gorilla. Like clumps of peas.
Small productive plant.

I have increased chances of producing more like FERN this program.
