Hello Friends,

I wanted to share my GHS chemdog grow with all my Greenhouse lovers! I was blessed to get two phenotypes that both look great. First is the more indica leaning goddess who is 32 days old and is starting to smell fruity and kushy. I also have more sativa pheno that looks very close to the Arjan/Franco video. she is 14 days old. Hope you enjoy the pics!

I grow in a 4x4ft tent with 1000w HPS and use 100% organic soil mix and "veganic" biocanna nutes, plus a few things like kelp, earthworn castings and micros. I "brew" my feeding mix to maximize soil life. Let me know if any has questions, and ill keep posting updates.

I wanted to share some more pictures of my grow. I top and train my plants to create a bush with even bud growth. I also "lollypop" to allow for good airflow and "A" buds from the whole plant. I run three plants in my 4x4, with one in and one out every 3-4 weeks.

Thank you for the kind words and interest in the grow!

Incredible ! Can't believe the plant is just over a month old. I got two 1 week over a month old plants myself and they are s far from flowering and behind in every aspect. Okay 400 WATT DUAL MH and less good outer conditions and a start up in pure CANNA COCO did stunt the growth quite a bit I guess. The main difference is of course the light + the soil. Since I planted one in a big pot with Canna Terra Bio with GHE feedings and guano it kickstarted another pace... What height should a plant have before putting it to 12/12 for flowering.

Another question.

Watching the GROW Videos I have the impression that clones are much faster growing once rooted than same sized plants grown from seed - is that so ?

Some of those growth from 1 week into flowering to the next with a plant twice as large in height and bushhiness is hard to imagine for me..

My first indoor grow, so I got lots of questions.

Thanks in advance...

bam-bhole,

I sorry if I was unclear in my post, these plants are not even close to a month old. I should have been more clear that the indica leaning girl is 4 weeks of 12/12 and the more sativa chemdog is 2 weeks into 12/12. I'm sorry, i can see how what i wrote was confusing. I veg my plant in 18 hours light for two sometimes three months before flowering.

Clones only grow faster then seed because they are sexual mature enough to flower from rooting, where as, seeds must be given time to reach sexual developed maturity. Clones will not have "hybrid vigor" which greatly improves seed grown plants size and pest resistance. I like growing from seed because its like getting to know a new friend everytime!

In the ghs grow videos what you may be seeing is the Inorganic growing {large bush} vs. organic growing {small plant}. I love GHS products and what they do but these videos are misleading for a few very important reasons. First its very clear that organic does not grow as fast for many reasons, but time is only part of the story for many many growers. Given more time in veg stage organic plant can grow as big if not bigger. inorganic "hydro" feeding will make plants grow faster than a living soil envoriment. That being said organic hands down crushes "hydro" in taste, smell, most often looks. Always, just like with the food we eat, organic produced cannabis is healthier and has a much more well developed cannabanoid profile. Organic has a higher medical value, but if your just trying to feed your family and bring herb to the masses hydro is ideal. I hope that helps!

P.S. much love to GHS Arjan and Franco for the fantastic videos, i just wanted to make that point for the organic growers out here.

Great Info thanks mate ! That was basically all i wanted to know and I am with you in the Hyydro vs Organic growing matter 100 %. These plants always look green and white after harvest. The organic grown weed from SIOMA for example is much more colorful and nicer to look at at harvest day. I think they do cheat a bit with their Grow videos and the info is misleading, since they only talk about the Hydro statistics and leave the organic untreated. a shame really. The old row Videos always showed large beasts no one could grow in a tent..lol.

These Sativas . 5 would fill up a living room, even a big one..

So they went for another method. Still very good.

I find the hardest prt is getting the seeds to the VEG from scratch...

Once you got some plants, that look like a hash plant the seeds catch up, too.

Good info. Soil is darn important.

Myabe you can answer that question too. My Canna Terra Bio Mix bag with 50litres is already less than half full and I still have 5 bricks of Canna coco giving 10 litres each. Do you think I could mix a brick or two with the Terra or should I get a new bag or mix it with another rich soil. (They get nutes + Guano anyway..) ???

I have to fix 4 more pots in 2 weeks time it seems. The other seedlings are in 3,7 litre Air - Root pots atm. Aiming for 15 to 20 litre pots for flowering/harvest..

Bam-Bhole,

First off I cant speak about those products because i have never used them. I love Canna products, i run biocanna-flore,vega and boost. you do need to be aware of PH with lots of coco.

Second I wanted to share a few pics of some Jillybean by TGA seed I grew that had wonderful color from the orange velvet mom. I think the organic growing really shows her off.

Here is a current peek into my flowering tent. I just started Barney's farm Tangerine Dream today.

i think the tang is only the small on the right, doesn't seem to have any problem during the veg, pretty vigorous she is even (yodaaa) it's during flowering that' things get harder lol

Really keep my finger crossed so you have a good one mate ;)

Hi guys,

That is only three plants in there. I also have a 3x5 veg area. With this setup im able to harvest a plant every 3-4 weeks which means im always smoking new and fresh stuff monthly. I cure my cannabis in glass for 60+ days before i smoke it.

I dont know too much about people having problems with Tangerine Dream, both my plants have been great! I think that many Cannabis Cup winners can get some bad grow reports because young unskilled growers want to blame genetics vs their skill. its the same reason GHS can get a bad rep on many marijuana sites, rookie growers not bad genetics. Also that first batch after a cup win can be rushed to market which causes problems.

Thanks for the interest in my goddesses!

P.S. the pictures is of Jillybean cured for two months.
