Green-o-matic's - First time grow!

Hello peeps!

Im a first time grower, really unexperienced so

im playing it real easy and simple.

This is to get to know the herb and see

how she grows at first hand, before i go all pro

as you guys..

After alot of reading i decided to go with

GHSC's Green-o-matic and soil as medium(Gold label special mix).

But i would really like to try to build my own hydro system of some kind

in the future!

Running on 18/6 from start to finnish.

My gear is:

400w hps (in a cooltube) and a

self-regulating 280m3/h fan(Vent TT 125)

sucking air throu a big fat carbon-filtre.

Temperature has been between 25-28.

Haven't got a hygrometer or ec-meter yet,

will buy em when the paycheck arrives.

Hand watering, like a boss!

Using Hesi bloom complex from day 14 from seed.

Ok, so i germinated 5 seeds with moist papertovels, All 5 of them

sprouted beautifully over night.

But one of them was alittle bit weaker then the other ones.

(still is, im gonna see how it does but probably gonna take it out)

I put them directly into 3,6L pots.

Moved into 11L day 14.

_____________________________

Daamn, i already love growing!

:D:D

I am very happy for all comments, and i really value you

guys's opinion!

I'll keep you guys updated!

Cheers!

Hahah, boobytraps is coming soon,

a true a-la-home-alone-one maybe?

Its real simple actually, a steel wire(like thoose ones on bicycle breaks),

mounted on a simple lock with the wire pushing the "pin" of the lock

into a drilled hole in the sidewall..

The hole is also placed so that you have to press the door alittle while

locking with the wire a meter or so away from the growdoor.

(i hope this will make it super airtight :))

nice man, great way to start out autos are pretty simple to grow and green o matic is a really nice strain i grew it as my first indoor grow it turned out amazing so good that i miss the bud and wanna grow it again very soon its a really like mellow long lasting high and the flavour is like that of white dwarf and hashish i think youll be really happy with the finnished product compared to normal non-autoflowering strains of cannabis.

yeah man your`s should turn out pretty great the thing i love about greenomatic is how tight and compact it is the internodes are super tight the plants only get liike 20- 30 inchs tall but the buds turn out pretty thick because of it to be honest i got some pretty decent results and like you i went with next to no nutrients i used alittle bit of dutch nutrient formula but i used miracle grow soil which i will never do again but i was in a pinch and thats all i could afford, i got on average about 30 grams per plant but i grew them under 150W hps your 400W should leave you with even more dense nuggets then what i got and a bigger yeild. if you are in a real serious money situation and can`t afford nutrients PM me and ill tell you some reallly good cheap gardening nutrients you can pick up from home hardware or home depot or any of those big box gardening centers not the best but definatly better then nothing at all and as long as you give them a good flush at the end will work just fine. but if you got the dough i suggest purchasing green house seed co powder feeding the stuff is really user friendly but it is also powerful stuff

but just to get you alittle more excited this was my results from my first indoor grow with this amazing plant for beginners.

about 1 - 2 weeks before harvest

Hello, and welcome.

You did a great job in building the grow, in particular the sealing, I find it very funny.

Truly a good start, the little girls are growing very well, you'll see that beyond the third, fourth internode, growth will start faster! :D

The soil which you used looks very good, could you tell me what ingredients are in it?

Thanks for sharing your first growth, going forward you will discover that all this can give great satisfaction.

have a happy growing.

hey big brown since your on a budget i would suggest finding an all in one nutrient for one they are a lot easyer to use for begginers and they have not only the npk but the important secondary nuritrients and minerals the plants need, the thing about advanced nutrients the company is that they are really good but most of there stuff is split up and needed to be used in conjuction with other advanced products. i just picked up a really awsome product i havet tryed it yet but i have been talking to alot of people that use it exsculsivly its from general hydroponics and its called floranova bloom all in one a 1 L bottle is like 33$ and i have been talking to guys that only use the bloom,

to be honest tho since your using a soil base that has some nutirents in it and your growing an autoflowering strain you wont really need a veg nutrient because the preflowers will show up on the 3rd week from seed so if i were you i would just buy the floranova bloom all in one its a really concentrated formula so one bottle should last you quite a long time and the nutirents are designed to give the plant everything they need in one formula and has stablized ph as well which makes it easyer to use. its basically the same concept as the greenhouse seed co powderfeeding but in liquid form and you can find it at most grow shops.

basically you wanna find a nutrient that has all of this stuff in it:

Nitrogen (N)....................................................4.0%

0.25% Ammoniacal Nitrogen

3.75% Nitrate Nitrogen

Available Phosphate (P2O5)............................8.0%

Soluble Potash (K2O).......................................7.0%

Calcium (Ca).....................................................4.0%

Magnesium (Mg).............................................2.0%

2.0% Water Soluble Magnesium (Mg)

Sulfur (S)..........................................................2.0%

2.0% Combined Sulfur (S)

Boron ( B)........................................................0.01%

Chlorine (Cl)...................................................0.01%

Cobalt (Co)...................................................0.002%

Copper (Cu)...................................................0.01%

0.01% Chelated Copper (Cu)

Iron (Fe)...........................................................0.1%

0.1% Chelated Iron (Fe)

Manganese (Mn)...........................................0.03%

0.03% Chelated Manganese (Mn)

Molybdenum (Mo)......................................0.003%

Zinc (Zn).........................................................0.01%

0.01% Chelated Zinc (Zn)

Derived from:

Ammonium Molybdate, Ammonium Phosphate,

Calcium Nitrate, Cobalt Sulfate, Copper EDTA, Iron DTPA, Iron EDTA,

Magnesium Sulfate, Manganese EDTA, Potassium Borate, Potassium

Nitrate, Potassium Phosphate, and Zinc EDTA.

ALSO CONTAINS NON-PLANT FOOD INGREDIENT:

3.0% Citric Acid

you may not be able to find it in the same levels but as long as it is close like this is the floranova label the green house powderfeed has the same stuff but a bit of a different ratio`s but you can even find cheap all purpose gardening nutirents that have similar level`s

Thanks Tokage, Ooh yes i do, this is getting really exiting! :)

Thanks the comment and info Mykol dude, yes i got 3 internodes now,

cant wait! :)

Couldn't really get the real ingredients of the soil.. Doesent exactly say on the bag

nor on internet, it got a few good reviews on different forums tho..

This is what the maker says on their site;

Special Mix is made using Swedish virgin white peat of the highest quality: One gram of Special Mix can absorb a stunning ten grams of water. The peat is cut into a coarse structure and mixed with only the highest quality Perlite, Swedish clay, lime, minerals, trace elements and organic fertilizer.

It’s a complete mix, ready for use. Due to its unique structure Special mix can be used in 30% drain systems or without drain. In a drainless system Special Mix contains nutrients for almost a complete crop cycle.

any comments as usuall more then welcome!

One love

i have been looking into your soil mixture basically it says it has enough nutirents for the first 3-4 weeks of growth basically your veg period is already covered with the nutrients in the soil, it then says taht it is ok to start with a light nutrient schedule so in your case cause your doing an autoflowering strain with the soil you have i would definatly skip the vegging nutirents and just start with the bloom inbetween the 3-4 week from seed and build up to a normal dose from there.

but since your already seeing the preflowers you can basically start the bloom nutes as soon as you get them just go really light with them to start of with so you dont accedentally damage your babies and it should be pretty decent

I agree with what he says greenomatic,

I have read in previous comments, which already have a PK 13/14,

Hesi is a good product, and cheap.

I recommend it to aid with Hesi Bloom, this is a complete fertilizer for flowering, pk 13/14 is only added by the third week of flowering, to give more support in the formation of flowers, where the plant takes on increased amounts of phosphorus and potassium .

But as said before Tokage, the most brands of fertilizers give good results when used as appropiate.

And just got a ac to control temp.

Edit; lol.. ive had it 3 days wrong..

this is only day 14.
