my Friend has a rectangular one in a 1x1M tent, and i found that it had little dificulties to cover the entire 1m² room with no "dark" zone.

For the other, Don't know about that type of cool tube, mine is not as covered as that, i've added my cooltube in a DIY adjust a wing cause i find usually the cooltube's reflector are shitty ^^

Good luck man

I got one just like the left one but i dont have thoose side-reflectors,

just like 3cm ones..

But i have a real tiny growarea(57x57cm) so i dont really have have

the light-spread problem.. Yet!

But since im planning a big expansion soon ill might be having that prob.

And im wondering, since you guys have TONS of experience in this matter,

could any1 suggest a design for my "addon"?

Is your one a good example to go from Growmaster J?

Maybe a custom designed that covers the entire space,

maybe two cooltubes with a combined reflector but i dont know..

This is the material i got , its around 1mm thick, and its really

fun to work with. :P

I use cool tubes and have found an easy way to give them much better reflection. Using what they come with as standard I think is a waste of time and money; I have also found that the 150mm cool tubes give much better light than the 125mm. But being that I am new to indoor growing, it might be better to test that out for your self.

So here are some photos showing how I have adapted my cool tubes.

  1. Tools that I found would be useful in one way or another for making my reflecting device.
  2. This was a cheap 5 pound reflector from my local grow shop (discounted because damaged). I removed all parts and bent the bulb holder out.
  3. COOL TUBE.
  4. With very careful measuring using a measuring devise I marked out where to make my new hole.
  5. MAKE HOLES (I used a masonry drill bit, I know bad girl but it did the job).
  6. Bolt the new REFLECTOR to the cool tube (using original hangers).

Hey presto you now have a supper duper amazing reflecting device ready to charm all those lovely LADY'S. :queen:

The only problem I find with my cool tubes is in the winter, I think I am going to have to buy a heater or use open bulb reflectors when it’s really cold. Save the cool tubes for the summer months. :spiteful:
