Gaz
After much anticipation I have got my hands on some Greenhouse seeds. A surprise from the wife when she visited Amsterdam for the day , as was the 2 g of bubblegum. SWEET.I planted them 2-3 weeks ago and they are doing very well so far. I have just cropped the Great White Shark and the Trainwreck as they are growing a little quicker than the lemon Skunk and the Cheese. As this is my 5th grow i wanted to go for shorter, bushier plants. After experimenting with my second and third crops, i felt 3rd or 4th internode was the best policy, although do intend to crop again before flowering. The shorter outdoor one I have due to finish soon (weather permitting) smell much better than the two taller one's.I germinated them by carefully cracking off the colour code coating, soaked them in warm water (5 mins) then planted them individually in 500ml pots, (soil purchased from local growshop, premixed with worm poo, twigs perlite). They took between 48 and 72 hours to appear, they then went in a mini greenhouse in the back garden for a week while my Dutch Passion Blueberry finished ( hermid in the last week tempramental ladies, so chopped a week early). After a week in the garden they have had 2 weeks under the 400 hps light 18/6 cycle. See pictures taken in the last hour. In the last week they have been lapping up Hesi TNT and Super Vit.See you in a week hopefully.Just say No to the Wietpas !
Gaz
Getting mixed up between croping and topping. On my last trial i nipped out the middlemain stem twice to split into four, I am planning on trying this same method on some of the side stems, to create a smaller cola ridden plant. All about trying to improve the yield per plant, as 65g my best effort so far. Have mainly been experimenting with some out door stuff, as much cheaper if anything went wrong, but they are exceeding all expectations so far. Gaz
Report Part 2Now 4 weeks since I popped the babies in the soil.As you can see 3 out of the 4 are doing good. The Great White Shark (GWS) is growing at the quickest rate and seems the strongest and has recoveredbest from topping. [Now 25cm] . This is closley followed by the Trainwreck (TW), which has great internode structure [Now 20cm].The Cheese plant is quite small compared to the GWS and TW, but looks very healthy [Now 15cm].I am getting a little concerned with the Lemon Skunk (LS) as the grow rate is extremley slow in comparisonto the others and to other previous strains i have grown. The top two leaves seem very dry and almost crispy.Looks like it has reacted badly to the fertilisers as also some gold patches on the leaves [Now 10cm].Overall happy enougth so far, getting twitchy as want to get them flowering asap, but for now will continue vegging them.I will reasses in a week as am hoping the lemon Skunk perks up as really looking forward to smoking it. Bam-Bhole
Hello mate ! Nice mix you got there, I love these mixes, started with an Indica MIX E as well. Best way to see what strains are available and which are best for your personal taste. I am not sure under which lights you are growing ? 400 WATT MH ? This worked best for Veg 4 me. Now it is time to put them to 12/12 and under HighPressure Sodium and change the feedings to a lower N and highe PK ratio. To speed up flowering there are various Bud Booster around; but even without it should only take a few days to start the flowering.I think you topped too early and somehow the GWS and Cheese do not like it so much. Iam not a fan of topping. 2 colas usually yield the same as one fat cola, but it depends on the genetics. Anyway they look okay besides the last one and I wish you all the best. Waiting for the net update.Massel
Dust
nice girls man Hope they will all like the topping and give you some nice bushes And about that lemon skunk, she does look pretty bad, maybe some genetic problem or you fed her too early like you said, at what stage did you start on her? you topped her too? Thanks for the news man keep them coming and keep those girls growing Have a good grow
Gaz
Thanks Massel, make it worth the time when people reply. Have Hesi TNT Grow at the moment and have been using the bloom followed by the phosphorous plus to finish, I also use there super vit. Would you recommend a bud booster as well. I am using a 400 hps for the veg and flower stages. Have been meening to get a 400w MH for veg next time, as a friend also recommended MH for vegging. Gaz
Hi Dust ,Started them on water and hesi Vit for first 10 days then on the TNT Grow from Hesi. i think I may have got a bit giddy and cropped her to early. Fingers crossed.Topping went well on my outdoor girls, so wanted to do more experimenting indoors, as sun prevailing should have some good results in a week or 4. Gaz
Week 5 since planting, loving the Great White Shark and Trainwreck, they are growing rapidly and looking as strong as I have seen so far. Both have recovered well from cropping, I have cropped the GWS in 5 different spots as you can see it is very bushy as is the TW but this was in only three spots. Both these strains seem to have responded well to cropping, suppose we will only truely see when those buds start to appear. The Cheese is slowly catching up after it's slow start, not sure I would bother cropping that again as did not seem to like it so much. As for the Lemon Skunk that is still rather runt like in comparison to the rest. I took the decision to remove more of the main stem as the two internodes either side are growing well now.I am continuing to water them with Hesi TNT and Hesi Super Vit, I like these chemicals as they have upto now caused little or any nutrient burn to any of my previous grows. I am hoping to put them into flower next week 3 out of 4 should be more than big enougth by then will keep the LS in as something is better than nothing.See you next week, Hoping yesterdays wind is a thing of the past played havoc with the outdoor ladies. Anyway all are now safe and secure.

Bam-Bhole
Well done mate ! You seem to know how to top properly and by now the girls look fine. I love HESI super Vit, too. Yeah grow with MH next time , keeps the internodes nicely together. I use Sunmaster DUAL Spectrum 400 in VEG - Perfect .I would invest in a Bud Booster - Top Max from BioBizz is okay, if you want the best get green sensation - expensive but works great. If you like HESI PK 13/14 is also a nice additive to get fatter more compact buds. Problem is you can easily overfeed using so many different nutes- the Indicas take it, but in the end too much is wasted. So an EC tester is an investment, that makes a lot of sense..Good luck, may the green gods be with ya..
Gaz
Now week 6I have deceided to start flowering them. As they all are of a decent height, except the LS and I am restricted with the height in my room (2m). I have now changed to Hesi green which i will use for the first 4 weeks of flowering aong with the Hesi Super Vit.The lemon Skunk has perked up a bit but is still a bit small really, but all the other 3 plants are more than ready to flower. The Cheese has recovered well and is really stocky and bushy plants. The Great White Shark and Triainwreck are flting so more than happy with them two.See you next week Happy growing

Gaz
That time of the week again! All plants are thriving and growing at a healthy rate. The GWS is blooming seriously well for 10 days have high hopes for that. The TW is the second in size also looking healthy. the Cheese is really coming on now after some early setbacks, Not much to say about the LS never really recovered but has perked up and am hopeful of some smoke from it, see if it will be worth considering for the future. Althougth thinking Autoflower maybe the future if i can find a nice yielder, also not sure if the quality of smoke will be as good.

Gaz
Sorry for the lack of updates. Have been taking my weekly photos but have lost my card reader. Everything is going well with the grow. I am amazed by the size and rate that the GWS is a blooming. Looks immense and still, 15 -20 days to go. All smell really good , just wish things had turned out better for the poor thing. The little lemon skunk as it smells amazing. The cheese plant is bushy stocky plant lots of small colas. The trainwreck is my second favorite developing well, Not as rapid as the GWS, but happy as it has 3 decent height main colas. You can see the strain difference in this strain as the leaves are a lot different to the other 3.Gonna try some LST next time. Although am tempted to go for an autoflower grow next, to allow me more time to experiment or do a longer sativa grow.

Gaz
This week , 2 - 3 weeks lefft to grow, smells like a candy shop in my room.Had a thrip infection so been busy - tried some neem oil but was not doing the job, so have blasted the thrips with some inscect repelent, job done! The GWS is an amazing plant with 4 monster cola,s with some big buds, closely followed by the Trainwreck, can't wait to try these two as never sampled before. The Chesse is not doing so bad , but not anywhere near as good as the other two, the runty lemon skunk never really recovered, which is a shame as it smells great.
