Ok here goes.. ita 25 days in but its a start.

I have 3 sweet seeds - sweet cheese and 3 sweet skunk. They are in 11l square pots under 3 - 125w cfl bulb. The bulbs are 2 warm and 1 cool, I popped the seeds in kitchen roll and they were ready to pot up after 48 hours, then straight into the 11l pots, using that all mix light soil,

I have been watering them about ever 3 day or so or when there is about a few inches of dry soil on the top of the pots and they feel light, just using tap water so far but looks ok,

They have started to flow now so i gave then a spoon full of Mirecle grow organic bloom ( first time i have used this so it is an experiment )

My grow room is very simple just a cupboard 10cmx60cm x 180cm tall lined with refective mylar.

I have some pic form day 16 and the cupboard so here is them.

These are all auto plants

First, thanks for making a grow journal for us man :D

Now your girls are looking beautiful! They still "only" have the 75w in cfl now?

anyway they've grown very nicely, and hope they will continue till the end ;)

Have a good grow and keep us updated on those girls :D

Hi there - Thanks - the light on them are 3 x 125 watt cfl bulbs so 375 watts altogether. not ideal but have to keep the temp down and cant vent out as in the cupboard and not allowed to drill hole anywhere

2 warm bulbs and one cool bulb

Ok just a quick question or feedback really

This is the smallest grow space i have ever used and the weakest lights,

Looking at the pics do you think i should get rid of some of the big leaves?

All my other grows have been much bigger with more space and i have alway thought that the leaves are there for a reason and help the plants do there thing so i have never trimmed the big leaves off, Ive just let the die off on their of accord.

How ever i did have the space and the light for that. I have always grown with multiples of 400w and 600w lights and this is the first time i have used CFLs in such a small space, I do also know that i dont get the penetration with CFLs so im not sure if i should trim or not. My instinct say to leave them alone, but im not sure after thinking about it, ( i might just be over thinking this)

I suppose its a weigh up between the amount of good these big leaves do and benefit of more light penetration.

I was also considering buying 4 of the LED grow bulbs for extra light but there only 16w each heres a http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/168-LED-Red-Blue-Orange-Light-Plant-Grow-Growing-Hydroponic-Bulb-E26-16W-220V-/140775940029?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Garden_PlantsSeedsBulbs_JN&hash=item20c6e65fbd#ht_4669wt_1413

Ok after writing this post and looking at the grow I think i might have a solution - so here goes

I have 3 bulbs under 2 shades - so i think im going to get another shade and hang them 90degrees from what they are now, if you get my drift, then get 2 or 4 ( depending on cash ) and hang them in the corners of the space for extra light.

so what do you think.... trim or not. more light or all.

thanks.

for the moment i would leave the leaves alone ^^

Take some away once the bud will be nicely formed already and starting to fill up. Up to this point i don't find it necessary for myself..

Have a good grow man, and very nice looking girls!!

Nice one, Yeh i think I agree, i have alway been a firm believer of leaving the leaves alone in the past , Thanks for your input.

Looking very Nice man :) How come your auto's are so bushy ? Did you just top them lots of times ?

Peace bro :)

Hi there thanks, No I haven't done anything to them, just put them into 11l pots straight after the seeds popped. I gave them some miracle grow organic bloom on day 25 ( mainly to test it ) I know the sweet cheese is quite bushy as seen plants a friend grew but never seen the sweet skunk plants so can't comment on them, but I presume it's just the strains, never seen any other grows from sweet seeds so not sure

Ok Day 29. Thing are getting crazy now, plants are going wild, especially the sweet skunk, twice the size of the sweet cheese. i think i would not grow these strains together again as there quite uneven. The sweet cheese plants are lovely plants, nice ant short with tight internodes and a fat stem, love them. might be my new fav...

Any way still just feeding them water after the miracle grow dose. this is the second water since then, still only giving them water about every 3 days or so. the 6 plants take about 16 to 18l of water so about 3l each. Plants still look heathy and no signs of of any problems. I suspect that if the sweet skunl had more light thay might not be so stretchy but this is only speculation as never grown them before.

Loving the sweet cheese though lol

Here are some pics from today.
