gonzosghost
I am humbled by your words, thank you Will keep the pics coming as she matures Lights on.... Light off..... Here she is, the 6ft plant that's been bent over and the star of most of these pics Top bud I snapped a bottom cola taking her out from under the light. I just taped it back up and hope it's ok. I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw it flop over. If it doesnt heal it will become a sacrificial limb, there is still many cloudy trichs We'll see........take care folks

gonzosghost
Sorry, I realized that I never told you guys which seeds they are, lol. You are spot on by the way, Sensi Seeds 10 pack, 70/30 indica sativa. Only 4 were keepers and the 6ft girl was close to being scrapped. She was small with slow growth but when I transplanted and flowered her she went SICK!! She was always on the outskirts of the garden with a really shit reflector setup. She stretched like crazy with 8in internodes! After tying her down she's been in a prime spot and loving it
Bam-Bhole
It surely did not look like a Green House White widow. Not much like a WW at all, mor a Kush / Querki type. Great buds nevertheless ! As soon as more than half of the white pistils have also changed colors cut her down. Might be within the next couple days. Follow your guts..good luck.Again congratz on this great strain.Seems I have to get me some Sensie Seeds strains too one day
gonzosghost
American Dream is also a great strain from Sensi, trichs all over stems and even some fan leaves You think she's almost there? There's a tonne of cloudy trichs but no positive identification of amber heads. There's a slight hint of amber in some trich stalks but not the heads quite yet. I'm planning on harvesting each plant at different ratios of maturity, so to take one earlier isn't a bad idea. Maybe 80/15/5% (cloudy, clear, amber) is the earliest i'd do. Gonna get the scope out and have a peek

gonzosghost
Thanks everyone Glad to share these pics with you She look perfect and heavy with resin. How much longer would you say, a week?Love the colour of the stigmas mixed with the bud. Nice work buddy.Well toke I'm not sure how long they have, the first pic is from the 6ft girl thats tied over. The second pic is the main bud from the one thats not been tampered with at all. Thought I could give them both a 7-10 day flush anyway being in coco n'all so I've leached the medium yesterday and will just feed water for a week, I think they'll be done then. Will take much longer than 7 days for the leaves to turn yellow so I think we'll be fine. Will keep you all updated over the coming week hunters Thanks again and watch this space harvest day is closing inEdit - Forgot to say that when I mentioned about flushing back on the 21st, a few days of waterfeeding later I realized that I'd been a bit premature with my decision. Call it noob nerves (I'm really shooting for clean tasting weed) I started a regime of 1.3EC.....until yesterday
gonzosghost
Well I thought i'd better give you guys an update after the events of the last few days.I have had to go and harvest the white widows after a young clone hermied and spooged all over my 9 week old girls, found very small evidence of seeds in a few buds. It's a bit more complex than that but I've explained in the coco section. So, I chopped after a 4 day flush. It's in coco as I said so it should be ok. Not ideal of course (would have liked 10 days). There were a few amber trichs but mostly cloudy. She was at the beginning of her harvest window.Took off all big fan leaves the day before and then when I cut them down took off all leaves with visible stems and left the rest for a dry manicure.... The last pic only shows about 2 thirds of the actual harvest, there's more round the corner Yay I know dry manicure is tedious but I don't care about speed or convenience, it's taste and smoothness I'm looking for. If you've read 'Franco's Tricks' then you'll know the final taste can be a tad bitter after a wet manicure. I smoke wet manicured weed all the time and its fine but would like to try this way
Dust
well still congratz on that not planned harvest man, i hope the smoke will still be good but i don't think it should have modified them too much Have a good drying and smoking man!! gonzosghost
Thanks dude Just put more pics up. I must say hear me out before you judge..... I know quick drying your weed is a joke but read lastnight that you can quick dry for a potency check. You can microwave it in between paper towels at 40% power for 10-30sec at a time. Turning it each time and letting it cool. I must say this in no way will reflect your final cured weed but it gives an indication of potency. It WILL taste like plant matter and be quite harsh, so I don't recommend it. So I took some small bud pieces that came off during harvest and attempted this. It ground up perfectly in the grinder and burned not bad in the bong. I must say I was high as f*%k! Very trippy and giggly high due to low amber trichs. So redeyed Cant wait till this is dried and cured for a few months. All the worries of the last few days disappeared. All in all I'm a very happy bunny
Dust
Yes and microwaving it you can modify the cannabinoids content too Fuzzy had made a post about this can't remember the name exactly. But as you said this method is not the best for the best smoke, i've tried a few including microwave, oven, and the one that gives "the best" taste for me is drying on a hot gear like a internet box or ps3 at the hottest point or a TV, it takes a little longer to dry can be 1 2 hours depending the heat, but in ends i found this is the best fastest way to test your weed Cheers man have a good smoke i'm sure they'll be potent
gonzosghost
Thanks for the tip. Glad you said ps3 and not Xbox.... anyway different forum for that discussion, lol. Away to try that now as I have a small handful of buds drying on a tray Take it easy, will be back in a month or so with a smoke report

gonzosghost
Thanks Jah, if I remember correctly you guys are doin some WW for the cup aren't you? gonzosghost
Yeah, germinated them on 25th July, flowered them on 3rd Sep. Temps were close to optimal and humidity always around 50% so I guess she just went quick. Like I said it was just at the beginning of the harvest window, could have let them go 2 weeks more for a real ripe amber couchlock but then there would have been seeds for sure (I HATE seeds so much). So it's a high as opposed to stoned, just the way I like it I've tried a lot of hazes etc that have been left just a bit too long before the chop. Got some earlier chopped Amnesia Haze one time and it was one of the best weed I've smoked

gonzosghost
Hi folks, the drying cupboard is about 19*c at day and 16*c at night, humidity at a constant 53%. Room stinks of chlorophyll so that's good. I've got a fan blowing towards a tiny crack in the cupboard to keep some airflow. Noticed today that a small wet trimmed cola was dry to touch, it was next to the crack I cut it off the stem and into a jar Its smells amazing Kind of spicy, citrus, hints of orange sweetness As Ron Burgundy says "It stings the nostrils"...in a great way though Stuff will be sweet as f%*k when it's been jarred for a month
Dust
love that mini jar looks cool Thanks for the news man hope they will dry nicely
gonzosghost
Yeah it's like something you'd find on Bilbo Baggins medicine cabinet Just big enough for a few small buds, cork for a lid. I've heard corks are good for soaking up some of that moisture not sure if it's true
