You are best off to call in and talk to the support rep for a good break down of the nutes and how much to use. They are basically telling you to use the full strength right off the bat for your plants. But your plants have to be at least one or two months old before you would use the amount they suggest in the nute calculator. There was an explaination for it but I can't remember what it was. Good luck!i usually try to measure myself by the ec meter... i fill that water with nutes until it reaches the ec...that's what i usually do! but i'll be using the powder feeding now! Please explain.hey bam, first of all thank you... it's really simple to make a cloner like that... to be honest i don't have a herb factory yet.. YET... LOL... i am making lots of clones.. yes.. first of all, i'm testing what's gonna work for me... if i should keep taller and less plants, or more and smaller plants... maybe SOG??? maybe perpetual harvest? don't know it yet... also, i was give lots of clones in the beginning, and some people are waiting on my retribution.... anyways, the most that can happen is that i'll end up flowering small clones... i also wanna know if throw them small, how tall they will grow and how much they will yield... peace man!hahahahaha, santa is too often without weed....So he decided to level up, hehe. Time will come santa has to teach me that...thanks brother, i'll help u with the cloner anytime.. all you need is:- submersible pump- pipes- sprayers- a tote ( which btw, i haven't found a leak proofing one yet, but there are methods and solutions for that )- pool noodlewhen u got all that all u need to do is drill some holes... idea is pretty simple.. and i can share all my thoughts and experience i had so far.. so.. SantaBuds Posted November 17, 2012 Author Share Posted November 17, 2012 ok, here are some updates on the clones:they have been sitting on the cloner for 11 days... the cheese just rooted so much faster than the others... i just put the roots out really fast... king's kush seems to to be the slowest... showed really tiny roots.. but it also was the only one that ended up getting a bit yellow on the lower leaves. they had no nuts on the water.. so i decided to add some powder feeding on the water... with ec around 0.7.. did it yesterday night and when i woke up all of them looked much better than it was...they're doing just fine, all with root development, some more, some way less.. so i wonder how long should i have my roots when i transplant it to coco... i read that i need could treat coco same way as soil as far as planting, and i could transplant as soon as i see those roots but i'll leave as it is until the other roots catch up a bit...PEACE! 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SantaBuds Posted November 28, 2012 Author Share Posted November 28, 2012 i still had problems with my cloner... i was able to fix the clogging issues, and now it sprays so heavy that the tote is leaking again.. but i've ordered this imported tote i seen people use on DIY clone machines and it doesn't leak... waiting it on mail tho....so here is the deal, from the last batch of clones i did, 6 survived and root... the king's kush didn't root much at all... so i'll try once again, and if it doesn't root this time, i'm gonna flower the mother next time... i still haven't cloned the lemon skunk... will do soon...i'll be harvesting in 2 weeks, and then i'll have space to start the seeds for the cup....on the veg room, i have germinated 3 more species, dna's chocolope kush and connie chung, and reserva privada's headband... they are loving the coco and the powder feed... they seem very healthy...here 2 of the clones, those 3 new seeds and a general pic of the room...i guess that's it brothers... peace! 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
