ChivoBuds Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Hi fellow growers!I'm glad to be able to start my own grow log on the White Lemons (El Nino x Super Lemon Haze) that were generously provided by the Greenhouse.These ladies will be grown under the 12/12 system through the entire grow in a soil based on cocos, hydro balls, and soil.My setup:2x 600watt Philips Master Son-T HPS2x 150mm Cooltubes1,5mx1,5m DIY GrowroomInside this growroom we allready have a couple of plants which are in their 3th week of growing and have just made their transition to the 12/12 system.My chemdog (GHS) in it's 3th week.I have also arranged for a friend (who happens to be a photographer, check him out at www.gerhardvandieren.nl) to come by every 2 weeks to make some pictures in a DIY photo booth, so you can expect extreme high quality shots and macro's in this grow!!And so it began!To begin germinating I placed the seeds in a couple of prefab sproutpads.These sproutpads go in my propagator and they get placed comfortably above my heater to ensure a nice constant temperature of 28-30 degrees inside the propagator.White lemon seeds inside the propagator with the included powderfeeding for hybrids!Obviously the seeds soon sprouted, and after letting them grow for a few days it was time to place them in their new home!The pots that were used are 14l pots.They were soon after placed inside the growroom together with our other Kush plants. I say: Good luck ladies!Update time!! Day 7First of all I noticed I hadn't placed any pics of the room the ladies are in.So gentlemen (and ladies) I welcome you to their home!2 massive cooltubes which hold 2 600Watt High Pressure Sodium lamps. They are connected with a fan in the middle, the silver tube leads to a carbon filter which is outside the roomOn to our little White Lemons!They're progressing smoothly! They should be starting to grow exponantially very very soon! Excited!Update time! Day 14!As I said last time, our White Lemons are growing at an amazing rate!One of the WL's started out a bit rough, but is recovering nicely and is turning into a nice little plant.As you can see, there has been some deformation on the smallest of our two White Lemons. However it is recovering perfectlyThe big sister is growing swiftly!Ultra HD pics of weed rocks lol. Hope you guys enjoy the pics as much as I do growing these beautiful ladies !I'm also curious to see how these little ones will respond to our lamp height (currently 80-85cm).So I haven't done anything on supercropping or anything, just letting the sideshoots do their thing .Update time! Day 21Howevery we made a terrible mistake! Planted a different seed in one of the two white lemon pots, because one of them is allready producing buds, so it has to be an autoflower for it being so extremely fast.The "Mistake". An autoflower Sweet Cheese apparently.HOWEVER, this is definatly a White Lemon lol.Update time!!! Day 28As of last week, i've moved to a new appartement so everything is still a bit chaotic, so sorry for the lateness of this update!Still have to move all the ladies, a big operation, since there are 18 of them in total. But couldn't wait with posting these pictures lolThe White Lemon has started to flower and produce buds beautifully! She now is between 40 and 50cm's in lenght. So she should grow a lot during flowering due to her Super Lemon Haze genetics .Another (mini) update on the lamp heights .Fixed everything so that the lowest buds are now around 30cm's from the HPS's. Temperature seems stable at 27 degrees, thank god for the cold weather outside lol!Raised some plants a bit to adjust to their differences in height!Enjoy the log! 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Always trying to give the plants more room to develop more roots!I will also measure the lamp distance. But I'm guessing it's at 65-70cm from the highest plant.Temperature at daytime: 31degreesTemperature at nighttime: 14 degrees (need to get this up because they aren't taking in enough phosphor) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
