Kalisilvermist - Damnesia - Coco - Powder Feeding

Recommended Posts

Two little heads peeking up through the soil.. I cant help feeling this strain is fairly difficult to get going the two that are up are very white looking and anaemic - I will nurse them to health - the other two that have not pushed up their heads yet I feel like I should put them on a warm windowsill since its Summer in South Africa and the sun is out - Seed germination really freaks me out as I am so used to growing from cuttings - I feel like I have so much to learn and am nervous every step of the way.

hehe aworried dad is so cute :P :P

Don't worry man girls should be fine, at least they look fine yet!!

About the hot window for the non gemrinated you are right, put them in the warmest place you have as long as they didn't germinate, around 26°27° soil temp is good for germination.

Good luck man we'll be looking closely at them ;)

HAve a good grow

Must be a good feeling to get growing again after such a long break man :) 2200W!! Do you own your own electrical generation plant? lol..I can only imagine what you must pay for electricity there..I pay $0.06 - $0.11 (Canadian dollars) /kilowatt hour average (depends on time of day) where I live in Canada..I definitely notice the 600W & the dehumidifier running constantly on the electricity bill but it's not nearly as bad as people who don't grow think it is.

Best of luck with the Damnesia's and the contest, I can see from your set-up that this isn't your first grow by far..nice work

Howzeet and greetings from the same neck of the woods.

Nice work so far Bud-Brudda :) I'll be sure to come round this week and give a hand.. dont' forget we are going clone hunting either tomorrow or Tuesday...

Sheesh dude.... you have quiet a load of plants there.. methinks you'll need to get the setup well dialed in cause you are going to have a jungle in there...

As to the questions above about legality... As with most of thre stupid things we humans get up to, living in South Africa it's a complete joke to think that this is the planet's most prolific outdoor growing country and yet it's totall illegal.. the cops will lock you up for a couple of seeds if they are in a bad mood or if you aren't prepared to bribe them.. there is a constituaional court challenge on currently so hopefully we will follow colorado eventually..

Sorry for topic jumping, back to your epic grow dude!!

Morning - I had a feeling that these little Babies are a little inbred ;) - Anyway No 1 and 2 are looking good No 4 has not yet raised her head although I can see her little helmet and No 3 seems to be a single leafed cotyledon (ie a monocotyledon) which is too weird - though she is still alive I expect she will be slightly special needs .. Here is the morning line up - I include the others as I wish to know what thoughts on them are - do you think they ready to pot up ? Nt the Damnesia obviously ...

@Dust Yes either she broke off under the soil or maybe the mix is too hot - but it shouldn't be as there are no nutes at all. I have given the clones a light feed though. I am waiting for some WSS that I can grow in this cup as well from another member here.I would like at least 4 or 5 icc plants in this thing - I am definitely taking cuts off these Damnesia and am hoping to establish a mother plant - Good Genetics are tough to find in this part of the world :):king:

don't think it's because of too much nute, she must have opened in a bad position and broke while getting up, i hop the next set of leaves will stil lcome but it looks like it has been cut too , hope i'm wrong and it's growing!

Have a good grow man

Update - I have recently discovered that I am living within 20km of the second best natural spring water in the world (I know) I have checked the PH of the Water and it is perfect (5.9/6.0) I am now going to be driving out there for every bit of water I can get as the tap water here is at PH 8.1 so Misters all Full Up. Seedling Water bottle all filled and 30l waiting in bottles. I wonder if I should pop the airtsone in and let it bubble (I don't know if it will make any difference

Update :- My good friend has told me to check the ec of the spring water for dissolved solids and while slightly raining on my parade I must admit its a good thing. On Other news we have two stillborns and two world Cup Contenders.. The other two did not make it for various reasons - One broke its own neck on the way out and the other (monocot) just curled over this afternoon - so with a 50% success rate here we go hopefully they both make it to the finish line. Repotted a couple of clones last night as they were looking a bit tired of their small cups and yellowing a little too much so I repotted them into bigger pots - root development was ok. I just struggled a little with this lot of clones - took 24 - 20 rooted - 14 make the grade(by which I mean I don't really try and get sick looking plants to recover I find there is usually not time and the yield is low and so...). I estimate I need altogether about 30 to fill the new room - so going strain hunting tonight - yay my favourite thing.

UPDATE and OFF TOPIC : - Just transplanted the rest of the clones - I am not sure about these roots they seem healthy enough but the plants seem to lack vigour - I am wondering what you guys think I would love some opinions ? -- Last pics are of the babies - they are looking Good.

hey man thanks for the news! the lack of vigor comes probably from that root bound, they look like they were really right, and you probably had some water staying at the bottom cause they have brownish color they shouldn't really have. they will love the repot ;)

Have a good grow man those girls seem to have crazy roots growth :)

see ya
