question? whats the benefit of running 30L of pure water trough it, wet feet at the end gives me mold

how many times do you do that before chop?

Hey man :) thanks for the positive comments :)

The idea behind the 30L of water is that the coco gets washed out completely of any residual salts/nutrients so the roots can start a water only routine :) I used 30L as my pots were 11L in volume. To make sure you fully flush the medium out, it has to be about 3x the water to the pot size :)

1L pot size = 3L of flushing water

If you have a 10L pot you flush with 30L of water :) This is only for a final flush that you use plain water. When flushing during the feeding cycle you just use the same amount of water but add the desired nutrients (usually 2/3 of normal strength :))

I have already been to the Dam and it was amazing thanks ;) I wish I could make it out to the Cup this week but no such luck :(

Eventhought your really wonderfull post has been a while ago, i just had to say that i realllllllllyyyy enjoyed watching and reading all about it.

I´ve just became a member here and of course had to read alot of posts, for now yours been my fav. also loved the way you made it the way you did.
