Man your pictures (and plants) get more and more beautiful all the time!! Those TW calyxes are friggin huge I totally see what you mean now You got some bamboo for WL#3?? :) It is definitely got a lean. The picture with that fat bud resting in your hand says it all, it's gonna be a frosty, heavy harvest.

I hear what Sizla is saying and he could be right but 40% cloudy trichs are a pretty good sign I would say to get ready for the flush. From my (limited) experience and what I've read using hairs to judge ripeness works to a certain degree but can be deceiving with some strains. Being a "white" family strain the hairs may possibly not turn to the same degree or as quickly and may not be the best way to judge ripeness. The trichomes never lie . Are they still pushing out lots of new calyx growth or has it started to slow?

yeah silza is right but i am doing a 2 week flush so i don't wanna wait too long maybe day 54 or so,the train wreck i am harvesting on the 9th week it is only suppose to be a 8 - 9 week strain, but the white lemon's are gonna finnish at differet time's i can already tell white lemon 2 and 1 are gonna finnish first and number #3 is gonna take longer so i think white lemon #3 will be kept on nute's till day 56 and the other 2 i am gonna proabably go till day 54 then start the 14 + day flush. but thanks for coming out and checking out my update!

smokey: yeah i have a bunch of bamboo for the white lemon #3 i was planning on using on the trainwreck but it seem's to be holding up fine and the white lemon #3 definatly need's it. with regard's to the resin slowing down it hasent quite yet but because i wanna do a minimum 14 day flush i don't want to wait that long basically once i hit like 80% cloudy resin i am gonna start the 2 week flush so nothing is set in stone when i say i will start probably on day 50 that is liable to change depending on the process at the time. i have never been one to stick to a schedule when growing

Ya 80% sounds like a good number to start flushing at, and of course it is all preference and what kind of effect we are seeking. I hear ya, when I get to the point you are at it starts to go day by day..with my anxiety (good and bad lol) getting stronger as each day goes by.."Do I flush..do I wait another day?..think I will take another couple samples and check em under the 60 x!" lol..I'm sure you know what I'm talking about

right now it's time for a quick mid week strain hunting report, today i only have 1 strain but it is an amazing one at that and also from Green house seed co.

the strain is GHSC Jack Herer, and it is grown the bio bizz organic's. it is actually a cheap batch but you wouldent know that looking at this bud would easyly sell at 10 $ a gram but it is only 8 $ a gram so it is what my club consider's diiscount bud, but just because it's givin at a discount doesent mean it's discount quality this bud is amazing and it is a really interesting pheno of jack herer, along with the typical jack herer chemical skunk haze odor there is hint's of apollo 11 or cinderella 99 in the background brother's grim created there cindy 99 and apollo 11 from a rare jackherer pheno type. but when you smell jack it's hard to see how apollo and cindy get there funky cheesy rotten tropical fruit odor but in this batch it clearly there along with a typical jack smell a very complex batch.

If you havent tryed GH jack herer and your a fan of hybrid's, it's a strain i really suggest is a very quality combination and it never disappoint's. if you happened to miss my update from friday it is one page back, and stay tuned for my next update on February 21'st, which ill be day 53 of 12/12!!!! until then be safe, and keep it simple!!!!

UPDATE!!! DAY 54 12/12!!!!!

alright so it's been 7 day's since my last update so it's that time again, today i decided to do the update in a little different of an order. right now as it stand's White lemon #2 and trainwreck are ready to start the 14 day flush WL #1 and #3 need more time tho. so i am gonna start the update with the 2 that are ready to start flushing i decide to start the flushing because when i checked both of them under 100X magnification i was having trouble finding clear head's but i also found quite a few amber head's so i am hoping that i still have 2 week's left in them i am prepared to harvest in 10 day's if need be tho but i would rather go the full 9 week's but to be honest #2 look's like its almost ready . for White lemon #1 & #3 the plan is to wait until around day 58 or 60 then start the flush period of 14 days so for them i will be harvesting around day 75.

Alright so now that i covered the plant's that are starting the 14 day flush today, here is the other ladies that are just not quite there yet. I am not supprised that some are finnishing early when you have a hybrid strain that's made up of an 11 week strain and a 8-9 week strain your are bound to see a little variation especially when your dealing with 3 different phenotype's this strain is pretty amazing tho 3 seed's 3 phenotype's and 3 keeper's you can't ask for more. when growing from seed it hard to avoid variation even tho some green house strain's seem like growing from clone they are so stable i imagen that took year's to achieve but to be honest variation is import to me and is why i choose to spend a little more money and grow strictly from seed. So far this white lemon strain is one of my favourite's that i have grown from the Green house stable if they don't officially release it it would be a real shame.

anyways since know one is hear to read my rant's i will get back to the good stuff ! these plant's are a little behind the pant's above but thats alright becuase these 2 plants have almost double the bud so i am willing to wait it out .

not exsactly white lemon #2 and the trainwreck will come down at the same time . i started the 10 - 14 day flush yesterday and plan on harvesting around day 64- 68 depending on the resin glands. White lemon #1 and #3 i am gonna continue to give nutrient's until around day 60 and then start the 14 day flush and harvest those 2 on day 74 . so 2 plant's harvested around day 64 and 2 around day 74 ten day's apart.

WL#1's main cola looks like a big frosty lime green traffic cone lol And that Trainwreck really has come around to be a unique and frosty lady that as you've said has filled out nicely. Overall there's a ton of resinous ganja in that room and you've given us all something to smile about :biggrin:

the smell , i am glad you asked. to be honest the smell has got to be one of my favorite thing's about this strain so far. as you can see just by looking at plant i ended up getting 3 different plant's some people would say that's a bad thing but when i grow a strain from seed stability isent the be all and end all i actually grow from seed because of the variation and on that not only this strain deliver it exceeded my expectations. one of the biggest thing's i look for in a strain when growing from seed is how many plant's out of what i planted would i consider worthy of keeping and taking clones of and just like when looking over the plant's you see 3 unique plant's that have obvious simlarities and difference's the odor of each plant is exsactly like that. over all i would say the smell is very hazy and very much lemony but each individual plant has different degree's of the two odor's. i don't really like to fully judge a strain's aroma until after the harvest but because you asked i think i will do a odor report for each plant.

white lemon #1 : this one is probably the least lemony or citrus like out of the bunch the smell very much remind's me of like a widow haze mixture with a hint of lemon's and strangly enough it is the plant that closely resembles the el nino plant. the smell is much more ruff then the fresh haze odor of the other 2 i and supect that it will be the most indica influanced out of the bunch but we will have to wait and see if that assesment is correct.

White lemon #2 : this plant is my favorite of the bunch if i had to make a decision i could only keep's of one of the three this would be the one for sure ( im not keeping any clone's but i am just saying suppose i had to make the choice) this would be the plant. it's smell is very strong of haze and is also quite lemony the second most citrus like out of the bunch. the reason i like this one the most is because while it clearly has the frame work of a short indica plant the bud's smell and even in appear's clearly have a haze influance which is exsactly what i was looking for with this strain a short plant with sativa influance's. this plant i would say as the most resin and that definatly add's to the pungency of the terpene's.

White lemon #3: you wanted lemon's well this pheno is more lemony then anything else i kid you not it smell's just like a lemon sucker or a lemon hard candy mixed with eucalyptus lemon halls candy is probably the closest thing i can think off , this plant is what i call the SLH pheno just cause the growth it's tall the bud's are taking alittle longer to mature the buds look very haze / widow like tho and i think it get's it's eucalyptus odor from the south Indian Brazilian sativa genetic's possibly because i have smelled this eucalyptus odor in other widow crosses like the very famous canadian widow cross jean guy it literally smell's like vic's vapo rub and when you sniff if it clear's out your nostril's this plant very much has that same effect and a similar pungency in which the lemon odor really complement's the rest of the odor's the plant gives off.

trainwreck: the trainwreck is very like earthy sort of kushy aroma it's not like over powering like full out kush varieties but you can tell this strain has a kushyness to it even tho it doesent really look like your typical kush variety it is a really unique plant as well and a real pleasure to watch mature and fill out. the thing that i love about this strain more then other thing's is it's calyx formation how the calyx's grow one on top of the on top of the other and the actual size of the calyx's it's just a different looking strain its unique and again very attractive and smell's awesome. i have been slowly working my way through the green house indica and hybrid list and i gotta say in the entire time i have grown green house strain's i have not had a single plant that i felt wasent worthy of keeping i have seen variation in some seed stock in other's growing them is almost like growing clone's but i have yet to disappointed with a single plant yet!!!

Sounds good 1 I agree with you on Green house strains. Very pungent, always something remarkable - the average stuff others offer is not even worthy to get a place on the Green Houe catalogue for a reason. I too like the calyxes of te train wreck most, but the WL looks proper as well.. So far the White Widow was the strain I liked best inside the grow room for itÄs exotic fruit punch aroma, followed by the great Jack Herer ! Top buds you had there.. gotta grow me some Jack in the upcoming future.

i am dying to try this strain as well, she is really interesting smelling. Last time i checked the trichromes out last time i did get nice little BT worth of finger hash off the end of the scope but it was a collection of all the plant's that i smoked and it was really nice and very potent and tasty alredy once fully matured i can only imagen it will be very good i think. unfortunatly tho White Lemon #3's bud's are getting so heavy and the plant is much taller then my bamboo sticks and the plant was tipping over even when the plant was just watered.

In order to stop the tipping i tryed adding more bamboo with no avail so the only thing i could do was take string's and in my closet there is a pole at the top that is ment to hang coat's on, so i took string and tie the bud's up from the top bar. so now the plant is tied in place so unfortunatly i won't be able to take it out and get really nice picture's of it until right before harvest but i will still add photo's of it in the closet in my next update. i am also gonna do an update pretty soon to illustrate my flushing technique and a recap of the grow including a list of material's and price's and also give a little more insite on how i get the result's i do by adding picture's of my set up which i will elaborate on.
