Hello people :) new too the forum, going too jamacia on the 19th of next month for my bday anyone been there? Going too ocho rios, any help would be greatly received :) I know the bob Marley expo is there on 9 mile, any more ganja must sees? I'm really worried il only he able too get my hands on shwaggy bush weed, hope I can find a friendly local with high grade trees. Sure there must be some ghs bushes lurking about after franko and arjans expo ;).

Did you watch the Jamaica live thread? Strainhunters have been there you might spot some good place to go too ;)

I hope you'll enjoy the forum and nice vibe we have around, you might find some infos about jamaica around here don't remember where exactly sorry

Where can I watch the full Jamaica expo? And really sorry tokage but could Bairly make any of that out as I have an iPhone and could not zoom in for some reason and it made the font litrally un readable lol sorry man. Im soooo buzzing for this trip, it's a shame I have not had a reply from someone that has been there, I know a good few people that have travelled over the island but none of which are tokers so did not have any knoledge for me on ganja.

hey dude, I've been to negril twice. DO NOT buy at the airport. your going to have everybody and their uncle trying to sell you something. i would wait until you get to your hotel. First ask the bellboy if he can get any good smoke.more than likely he'll ask you first. He might start naming popular strains such as the usualslike white widow ,skunk, ect. Just tell him your looking for something from the island. I've seen everything from brown schwag to some really nice lime green buds smothered in trichomes .Everybody going to say they got the best, just use your best judgement,look, smell and then discuss price. Ask the front desk for their favorite cab driver. Those guys most always have the best connections and will take you their. Treat your hosts just like you like to be treated and you will have one of the best 420 vacations ever. Oh yeah, ignore the hawkers on the beach. Most of those guys will rip you off one way or another. Ocho should be cool,more active than Negril which is more mellower except places like Hedonism. Have a great trip.

Purpose of Strain Hunters

Our planet is home to millions of species of animal and plants with their own habitat, and each plays a unique role in the perfect design of nature. Unfortunately many species of plants and animals are victim of uncontrolled human development. The sole intent of Strain Hunters is to identify, locate and retrieve cannabis landraces that have not yet been studied, in order to give scientists and doctors the possibility to further enhance knowledge of the cannabis plant in the medicinal field.


Preservation of Landraces

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.

Cannabis should not be illegal


One of the goals of the United Nations, published years ago in official reports, was to wipe out the cannabis plant from the face of the earth by the year 2010. In reality this is far from being achieved, because man keeps using the cannabis plant for religious, medicinal and recreational purposes no matter what the law says. Most cultures cannot comprehend how a plant can be made illegal. In most people’s perception, plants and animals stand above a status of legality or illegality, they just exist in a higher design of nature that goes beyond human laws and regulations.

Nevertheless most governments of cannabis- producing countries are implementing drastic measures to destroy crops. Dangerous chemicals are sprayed over fields and over the farmers themselves in most of the third world countries, and the poorest people of the planet are the ones paying the highest price for cultivating a plant that does not kill. But in the economy of scale, where demand dictates supply, the poorest people of the planet have no choice but to cultivate cannabis as a cash crop to feed their children and send them to school. Communities that are isolated in remote areas in the poorest regions of the planet are often the keepers of very special landraces.
