Those pebbles are great to use at the bottom of the pot just as Leopard say. They will provide air flow and drainage.

If you have you could add a grow cloth over the pebbles so the soil does not reach the bottom, The roots will grow past the cloth ;)

Hi Tokage, do you need to buy this grow cloth specially, or will any old t-shirt do the job.

Nice start! You will really like the Powderfeed, it has proven itself with quite a few really successful grows on here. I hope the moss problem clears up..Tokage has got your back with some good advice :good: . Best of luck with your grow!

Peace

Got the fan going and the outside temp's back in the plus figure's so hopefully that should solve the problem. Thanks for stopping by.

It´s a special cloth you get in normal garden supplies store.

They let thru water easy and the roots have nor trouble to grow thru.

thanks for the advice will have to look into getting some , will be repotting this week,

Day 21 of Vegging! Not me the plants! i decieded to repot the WSS today so they are now rehomed in 12 litre bucket pots. I managed to get some clay pebbles only 8 euro for a 25 kg bag, bargain. I will do the White Rhino and Widow tomorrow. They have both had a drink of there respective nutrients and some water collected in the yarden. I will do a proper update on friday when they have all been repotted, with more details on the soil been awaiting a dutch mate to come over and translate the contents for me. Any thoughts on the yellow/gold colouration on one of the plants leaves.

I had to smile about that....

Glad to see you re pot , they really needed it. Those wrinkled leafs sure looks like Ph related thing. A Ph lockout but i do not know what causes it. Perhaps a transplant will do them good.

More like 21 years for me ! Roots seem to be forming well and they look well enougth at the moment, just wondering wether to top them as just on 3 internode or leave them to reduce any potential stress!

Anyway Back to business. Day 26 , now 4/5 days since repotted and they are definetley on the grow again aided by 5 g per 10 litre's Powder Feed, i also have 2 WSS on Hesi TNT (Plants 1and 3), all the other 3 WSS, the WW and WR are on Powder feed for hybrids! I wanted to try compare them as i have grown very fond of Hesi and there factory is close, keep it green use local suppliers.

I have sadly lost WSS 5 she died in a terrible potting accident, wanted a new home so much she dived head first from my hand into the new pot, breaking her neck in the process. RIP you will be missed, god bless.

Also Crinkly WSS no.3 not looking great, ahs lost it's first leaves, the went dry and with gold patches and fell off, alsoa little streched ! WSS 1 and WSS4 are both flying especially WSS4. The White Rhino and White Widow are also lapping up the Powderfeed, coming along nicely

Any questions any advice greatlly recieved. Was wondering what your opinion would be on flowering them this week. Was thinking another 3-4 days then bloom time, have my second 400w HPS ready and waiting to bloom the babies.

Any way 2 hours later resizing and sorting photo's time for a nice riff.

PS Picture with no text are no. 4 they are in numerical order.

Day 31

First day of flowering - All plants are at or just beyond there 4th internode.

I have switched the lights to 12/12 after 30 day vegging. I am now adding 10 g of powder feed per 10 litre of aireated tap water, they will stay the 6 plants under a 400 HPS for a couple more week, then I plan to spread them under 2 x 400 w HPS for the final 6-7 weeks of flowering.

WSS No.1 and No.4 are quite comparable in size (30 cm tall 20-25 wide) I would say No.4 is just edging it . No.4 to be fair is a beast I have high hopes for the fat stemmed beauty. This will probably get the Big Bertha title, the name i give each grow tomy favourite looking plant!!!

WSS No.2 is the smallest and seems the slowest developing, but is a very compact plant - (20 Cm tall , 22 cm wide)

WSS No.3 is the tallest ( 35cm tall and 20 cm wide) , this is the the pheno that keeps growing crinkly / wrinkly leaves, that are a strange shape and form. They also have brown dry patches which turn to hole's in the leaves, i don't hold out much hope for this one.

The white Rhino is performing well, very healthy and lush looking. I planted the White Rhino and White Widow for back up, they are also a safety net in case I get any boys. if all the Strawberrys go to plan I will re home the White Widow as not a GH seed, my friend is allready waiting eagerly, to see the WSS sex.

Will get the plants out of the grow room to get some better shots next time, still under Doctors orders to rest and self medicate. So mixing Chiesel and the old but ever reliable white widow. Not my work !

well the one i saw with the same leaves as you didn't turn hermie in the end so i hope for you you will be lucky ;) ;)

Thanks for the news have a good grow!

Not long till we find out there sex. On a couple of the plants the leaves are looking pretty bad, and have what looks like burn marks with little holes forming in them, but if they are girls, then i will continue to love them. is it anything I could be doing to have these funky plants or is it likely to be more genetic! Couple of pics see what you make of the leaves. Plant 3 has been growing wrinkly and crinkly from the start. No.6 is now showing signs of the same problem with the leaves. Assuming there is a problem.

Any thoughts appreciated.

You have a Ph problem due to something that i can´t pinpoint. Pretty soon necrosis could follow. I´m hinting at the fourth photo and the spots that are coming. How much do you water, how often?

Do those photos show both the Hesi feed and the Pf Feed?

Last time i gave the plants 1 - 1.5 litre's each, I have been watering as required, last water/feed was 4 days ago. Normally I do it on weight of the pot, but this is the first time I have used the clay pebbles, which adds more weight. The WSS3 pics are on Hesi Tnt and the WSS6 has been on only Powderfeed. WS6 is smaller than the others as it had a snooze for 3 days, and popped 3 days after the rest. Maybe I overfed it wth it being smaller. i am going to get all my babies out for a photo shoot in the next day or two. Can't work out this white balance on my camera.

Thanks for you help don't like the sound of necrosis!

Maybe soil in pot to hot? You need remove reflector from the floor of box or wrap the pots reflector too. I think roots are cooked at the edge of the pot and soil. It is all worked like solar heater which focuses infrared light from HPS lamp on pots.
