After 12 hours both seeds sank and are ready to got into a sealed container to germinate for a day or 2. I use a seedling heating pad with a thermometer probe built into it so they don't get cold at night and germinate at full speed :)

After a couple of hours they are ready to go in rockwool cubes.

I soaked the rockwool in rhizotonic (root stim) and water ph balanced to 5.5 and back into the container until they poke their heads out :)

After about 24 hours we have some new arrivals :)

I've cracked the container to let them start to get use to the lower humidity

I will leave them in there until the tap root appears at the bottom of the rockwool cube.

We'll just call this Day 1

Last night the baby's were placed into there final homes.

I use 5 gallon black buckets with deep water innovations air diffusers made for the 5 gallon there ok air diffusers the only thing I don't like is they float so they come with 3 suction cups attached to it and they don't always stay suctioned to the bottom. I use 3/8 inner diameter tubing with an alita 60 lpm air pump. 4 inch net pots with clay pebbles I like my water level 1 inch above the net and I put the clay pebbles 1 inch above the water this promotes feeder roots which is what we're lookin for :)

They will go into the LED tent tomorrow after I clean the tent thoroughly as the SLH come down tomorrow :P

Ph 5.5, EC .6 short powderfeed only

Nice hope you girls do well, I have a q for you, at what temp do you keep the water? and if you were in some place cold do you use a fish tank heater to keep the water temp to where you want it?

That's a good question...I keep them at 67-71 and because my room has such a good temp my res temps stay in that range which is spot on :) so no I don't use any heater or anything I have an a.c. Running in my room at all times and it keeps an even keel in the room

That's my temp in the res right now

thanks bro I'm real excited lol

For anyone that was thinking what 67F is in Celsius i can say it is around 20c

:)

Yes you are right mate, looks pretty empty. At least you can feel proud over that you got a ready to use room set to go.

I do not even have that. My grow tent is transformed to dry wet cloths in hahah

Good luck buddy and i hope we see something soon from you.

Bummer man...hopefully you can get that tent up and running soon...thanks for the ganja love guys

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
