White Widow GHSC (my first grow) ''harvested!!''

WTF man..sorry about that. I brought them over from another website and IDK why it's not working...

I've already grown and harvest 4 White Widow this year tho, and it came out REALLY well man. Sorry I the pics aren't working.

But basically, you should let the White Widow flower until she' stalls or starts throwing male flowers, because in the final week or two, the plants REALLY pack on weight.

That was the main bit of advice I wanted to toss ya.

The first White Widow I grew, I harvested about a week too early. The next 3 that I grew all had more pronounced buds by harvest, as I let them really finish.

It's a file interpetation error on the application layer, you cant fix that it means that the file format they are using is misinterpetated by the GHSC server. It can be that by terms of copyright law sutch linking is prohibited and or greenhouse term off use make you upload files before display is possible. I think it's the last cause I've tried image media linking from a Linux based system that should normally go well since they running unix but didn't work out, music yes images no! Maybe you can create a ticket for it or ask Dust.

Hello guys,

Here are some pics of the buds. I did not weighted the wet weight of my buds because it was a shit load work with my simple scale so yeah, that's why. It took me 8 hours to cut them all. :mole:I'm very happy with this fist grow, it's bin a super experience and cant wait until the nest one.

Here are some pics, and my shoe size is 12

Peace

looks great man all the ladies hanging from there feet, you mass murderer! 200 g easy mate! I regogn it being roughly 800g wet buds you have there means you should make a liitle more than 200g dry buds in about a week. Keep You HM around 40 not above 55, maybe you have to open up all intakes on the tent for that depending on hm ouside the tent and leave the vent on high refs, first few days! After a day or 4 put them in a paper bag for 8 to 12 hours and then back drying in the open. Tasty stuff is what waits for you man! Man there is at least 2 maybe 3 you would have been cloning I see 3 plants who did really well, mid sized plants with fat cola buds, feno properties probs.

haha thanks man, but i don't have paper backs and don't know where i can get them. i have the HM now on 50% so that's okay then. i really hope the the are going to smell really nice because the little bud i had dried smelt like hay/grass, but that one was dry in 4/5 day's. so hope this is not the case with all my buds that i worked hard for.

very nice first grow and looks like you have a great yield too.

i hope you get on top of the calcium problem before the next grow, the powderfeeding website doesnt show that pf has any calcium in it but it has mg, and that is usually the case with all the 1part nutes as the calcium will bind with other elements when they are mixed together in high concentrations making them unavailable, that is why the 2 and 3part nutes have the specific mixing order, calcium in the first bottle

maybe some people have such hard water (more calcium in it) that they dont experience this problem with pf but you have soft and need to supplement it after the soil runs out

thanks man for stopping by, but i think it was no cal problem i think it was heat burn because i had flushed the soil en have let then dry out to long so the plant could not get any water to the top fan leaves that were a little to close to the lamp so they just died, and that's why they where burned i think. because all the other lower leaves where perfect from color and no defects. but we will see with the next grow if it is the PF witch i don't think it is.

peace

Dat is mogelijk jongen :) Think your gonne need more then one paper bag tho.

My last dry was done in paper bags to see how it works, and I alomost perfect it, bcuz it garuantees a slow dry but you have to becareful and turn them like twice a day or so I'd say, bcuz I had a super lemon haze start molding on me about 2 weeks into the cure, as it had too much moisture in it still, when I jarred them.

If you've got MASSIVE buds tho, I say you should hang them!

That's just my opinion bro . The bags will do the job tho!

yes i think it should do the work man ;) just make sure to put something above the buds to cover it from the outside or close it a little and it should be fine :) but like internationalG said you're gonna need more than 1 haha ^^

ah okay nice, and yes they are hanging now in a ventilated room at 50% RH. i'll let them dry in there until they are almost, almost dry and then i will put the buds inside the back's and open then every 12 hours for about a week and then i put it all into jar.

thanks

okay then, i made backs out of the paper so they will not lay in the open, and yeah i think i need to make some more back's to, lol

thanks

During first days off drying you just hang them and when the outside is feeling dry you put them in those bags you have there ! Good enough for the purpose. After 8 to 12 hours you get them out again and let them dry in the openfor a day or so and repeat the first session with the bag, to have the inner moist within the stams and all that get into the dry outher layer from the bud making it dry but a little bendabel and sticky in the end. This is no curing curing starts after 7 to 10 day when allready dry!!!

BLAM! what a finish man!! Congratulations, that's a 1st harvest to be very proud of!! :good: I'm looking forward to seeing your next grow :)

There are a few different methods for drying/curing, I can't say mines the best but I'm comfortable with it now and it seems to work. I hang em until dry, usually 4-6 days for my buds (scrogged buds are not usually huge, so you may need longer! :) ) if I can keep rH where I want it, around 50 - 55% - but no higher - (again I keep it a little higher than some growers might because scrog buds are not usually huge and I don't want them to dry out too quickly) then they go into jars and I check them every couple hrs at first to see if they sweat. Once they do start to sweat out that middle moisture I put them into open paper bags to breath and dry a little then it's back in the jars to see if they sweat anymore. After a few times doing this, I can just open the jars for 15 mins at a time (as long as they are dry enough) a few times a day, then a few times a week before they can pretty much stay closed as long as you are sure they are dry enough and you keep an eye on them every once and awhile.

Also kinda important, if possible try to store them somewhere cool and with an rH around 40-50% if possible. Even in jars they can become too dry/moist again depending where they are stored after a long period of time because unless you can vacuum seal the jars some air exchange still occurs.

In the end you can get the same results different ways, have a good dry/cure and a great smoke..that first one knowing you grew it yourself is one of the best smokes you will ever have!

Peace

yep when they dry you put them in a jar, and then the remaining moist in the kernel will draw trough your bud also!
