I stay <24 hours in water and <24 hours on cotton pads till the roots are .5 to 1 cm and then I put them in the ground. My pH was like 7 brought it down with Salpeterzuur (52% , pH - groei) for the water in our region is high pH 8.5 tapwater. Some say for gemination in water it's better to have a "high" pH reading.
