Kalashnikova Automatic (Feminised) x 3 - 400w HPS - 12/12 Light Schedule

Day 19 since seeds planted.

Still no sign of the 3rd Kalashnikova, but the other 2 are growing, although progress seems really slow, one also look as little faded. Not quite sure what is going on, put the slow progress compared to other auto grows down to the 12/12 light schedule as previously have alway done 18/6 gor 2 weeks then 12/12. Should be a good test to see how they compare come finish time. I still have them on water and I will repot into 11 litre pots this weeks with my mix from the growshop and the addition of some clay pebbles to aid drainage.

I still have them under a 400w HPS about 50cm away as they are still small looking and fragile. A few pictures been about 2 weeks since they popped through the soil.

yes a little small and stretchy for 19 days, but with the repot it should go better, burry a little the stem and let them run In 12/12 from seed personally i prefer to start directly in big pots, it avoid all loss of time in transplant for recovery etc, and the root settles a bit better like this for me ^^ specially with autos.

But well it's not extremely slow nither they still have time to boost now did you check the root groth if it's good or not? and how often do you water?

I think I am probably giving them to little water if anything, they seem to have perked up a bit. The roots I cannot see at the edge of the pots yet, but plan to repot on Wednesday anyway into 11 litre pots. Thanks for passing by dust always appreciated.

Week 3

Third week and the plants are progressing nicely, they seem a lot better in colour. I have repotted the plants tonight into 11 litre pots. A combination of clay pebbles with my growshop bought premixed soil. I had hopped to repot them earlier this week but not even had chance to sit down, bloody decorating. This week they will get ther first feed, once they have been repotted I will give them 2.5g of the short flower powderfeed per 10 litre water as per instructions. When I repotted them I have burried the stems slightly as they where stretching a little to start but seem to have filled out more. Will do a mid week update in new pots as battery died.

They should grow taller yet, they should just be showing there sex now depending on your light schedule. They get to there top height after 6-7 weeks from seed, then gradually the buds fatten and fill out. Most auto strains cross with lowryder and this is a very small strain 50-60cm max.

Week 4.5

The autoflowers have been in there new pots for a week now and are back on the grow, amaxing to see the difference the 18/6 light schedule makes to the speed of growth, think would go back to starting them 18/6 light schedule next time instead of 12/12. These two plants are sharing 400w HPS, so have high hopes for them. They seems to be looking healthy and are enjoying the 3g per 10 litre strength feed they have been getting, just water tonight though, keep them keen treat them bitches mean.

Wasup Gaz? I am cracking this strain as we speak. (critical rapido) Have you changed your mind about 12/12 for autos or do you think the size of your plant is due to the particular strain. Catalouge says it is a big yielder. peace...bongwater

Maybe the strain or maybe the light or maybe I have not shown them enough love. Time will tell.

I will still be sticking with 12/12 though, reduce cost and can do a greater variety as you only need one light and room.

Yes theyve got a lot of preflowers which are creeping up the stems into formation already,

thats what worried me as i had them on 24 hours for the first 21 days now for the past 4 days

ive had them on 12/12 along with my photoperiod ladies. I would do them on 20/4 or 18/6

but i guess its just easier to do them 12/12 from here on out.

Week 5

Now been 5 weeks since they popped through the dirt, I will start them in there big pots from the start next time as I think they stalled a little after ther repot, adjusting to there new homes. They seem to be flying now, nice uniform shape forming . They look really healthy and seem to be loving life, still on the 2.5g per 10 litre Powder feed ratio. I will maybe up this next week as they are preflowering. Real low maintenaince the auto's and with Powderfeed could not be simpler!

WEEK 6

The girls are flying now, the flowers have really come on this last week. With this in mind i have upped the Powderfeed to 5g to 10 litre, once this batch is used i will be jumping to 10g per 10 litre. think a combination of them fully recovering from there repot and the increase in feed. I have no problems with the strain they grow quite uniformly and look really nice healthy green. So some pictures.

Week 7

Had a small drama, hence the late update. Been raining for what feels like a month, went to check on the girls last night after a heavy hailstorm and the cellar was under 1-2cm of water, so then spent 2 hours scouping water into a bucket, 4 buckets later, after some mopping job done. So have took some photo's tonight and seems to be dry for now. Hope that's the end of the shit weather for a while.

All is growing well, have been continuing with the power feed, as per instructions alternate watering with fresh water, then the the last of the 5g to 10 litre ratio, i will then go to 10g to 10 litre next time i water them.

I am extremley hppy with how they both look and the buds have doubled in size since the lst update, strange the size difference with them, guess Kalash 2 is more Low rider dominate than the other, all thought she is shorter the buds are looking more promising. Kalash 1 is more tall with less bud sites.

I had the same problem . Of three auto Kalashnikovas , two of them are the strechy sativa pheno . I even had to supercrop One, to keep some distance zu my tiny 150w hps light. I hope you'll get some awesome stoney buds.

Always seems the way. This is my 3rd attempt at Autoflowers and the 1st and 2nd time I had a 50% mix of short and tall, especially the Dutch Passion Think Different, but that is a sativa dominant auto, so was not sure if it was just something that happened to me.

Week 8

The little and large show continues. The buds are filling out and joining nicely, K1 the tall girl is forming loads of buds which are filling up fast, not to much resin about yet , but that will come judging by the smell they are starting to give off the last day or two. K2 the short girl is looking very promising the buds on the main cola are joining nicely so have very high hopes.

Just used the last of the watering can so will go straight to 10g per 10 litres of Powderfeed for there next water mid week as I feel they are at the start of the main weight producting stage, I have not really been paying them so much attention as you notice more the growth rate when you see them less often and they are looking healthy.
