Gaz Posted July 7, 2013 Author Share Posted July 7, 2013 Week 13Evening Strainhunters, Time for an update, must say I am very happy with the growth this last week. They are still filling out nicely, and with more amber hairs appearing and the leaves turning yellow, harvest is getting close. A quick check on the trichomes with the loque revealed 50% cloudy trichomes. The plant are not smelling as much and the resin is getting that more pungent, riper smell. Both plants had 10 litres each flushed through them 4 days ago and I will give them the same again tonight as they are nearly dry again as been a warm week.K1 is the taller girl, she has filled out much more than I expected and has a that very distinctive White Widow smell, and are whiter than K2.K2 the fat girl also has filled out well, really nice foxtail on top. Seems a little ahead of K1 as has more amber hairs than the other. She has a fresh fruitier smell, less of the heavy indica White Widow smell.Some pictures , hopefully next time will be harvest time but not going to make any predictions as happy to wait while I still have WSS and WR to smoke. It was suggested that I share an order with another grower but NOONE knows I am growing as I only grow for personal use. Gaz Posted July 14, 2013 Author Share Posted July 14, 2013 Week 14I have today chopped the plantsI found some bud rot hopefully got it early and will not spread while drying. Has ben very humid all week must try get a dehumidifier for the flowering next indoor grow, also growing in the cellar does not really help.Must say I have been really happy with this strain, best Autoflowers I have grown yet, so good comparison as last 2 were Royal Queen Seeds NL and Dutch Passion Think Different. Looks like there is going to be easily 35+g of dry bud on each, would not surprise me if we hit 50 on the taller girl K1. Might get better than 35g on the shorter plant as that centre cola, is fat and dense as hell, had a tough job cutting out the bud rot on the main cola. Both plants responded well to the Powderfeed Short flower food, and pushed it as much as I dared, no signs of nute burn and overall the girls looked very healthy all the way. Smell is heavily indica very similar to white widow, with a more citrus sweet smell.Overall can highly recommend this strain to grow, very easy low maintenaince. I will continue for a few weeks to show you the 2 I have outdoors, they are 6 weeks old. What I would say is the only negative for me was the size difference.I will naturally update some more bud shots once the final trim is done tomorrow, I have them in the garage in the dark with the fan on at the moment. Really happy with the results 12/12 all the way, interesting to see how the higher light amounts compare. The short girl the top bud is mega dense as well, was quite damp, when I managed to hack into it, possibly lost 10g max, and was ruthless. Can recommend these for your next auto grow.
