Looking very good! And professional brother!

Great work so far!

Bless

thanks mr.green for the vibes :) happy with the health and learned a lot with this food 1st go around. in DWC they can definitely handle higher EC levels earlier which is nerve racking with other nutrient brands. happy for sure :)

thanks dust. the powder feeding has been easy and glad to step up and try in DWC and let people know how it works. it's incredible how quickly the EC drops in 2 days.... I would ballpark around 20-25% quicker appetite on this food than others.... I have OG Kush going in another system with Nutrilfe A/B/C salts and it's not dropping the EC nearly as quick. pretty cool to see and also regardless of how much more they eat, it's affordable and works which is all that matters.

week 3-5 will be really interesting for me and excited for..... I have a couple people close to me watching how the powder feeding works since they are keen to switch if the results are there.....

Here's a couple photos from Day 9 of Flower and everything with the kick into Bloom went well. These OG's filled out width wise impressively over the last week from the last big prune and I'll have to get back in there next week when I'm back from vacation to gut & prune all over again :)

I've set the EC@1.1 for the 1st week of BLOOM and will up it to 1.2-1.3ec next week at the start of week 3. PH has been set to 5.8ph on the ROBOMATIC doser and we'll keep it there until week 7 then drop to 5.7ph.

At the start of week 2 I turned on all the side lighting which are (12) 400watt HPS candles which will help with the kick into flower mode now. Looking forward to getting back there in 5 days to see how things are progressing.

later everyone, :)

  • 4 weeks later...

Hey Everyone,

Been a long gap since my last update and sorry for that. September got busy with work and took off for vacation for a couple weeks. What most people don't realize is that I'm able to leave this garden up to 2 weeks if need be (not recommended obviously) and had to for my girlfriends bro's wedding in Hawaii. That's whats nice about DWC with a PH doser hooked up to stabilize and I can monitor from 3500 miles away :) No hiccups at all hehe....

Well I'm sunburnt and back at it and happy with how these girls look for the start of week 7. One thing I messed up on this grow was not pruning/gutting the OG's nearly enough on week 3 unfortunately. They got bushy and hairy as hell and had to really go hard on them before I left for my trip at the end of week 5 which isn't what I like to do so late in the bloom cycle.

Overall the 1-part Powder Feeding food for DWC is working well and I'm happy. The one thing to consider and know is that the plants seem to absorb and eat the food so quickly that you'll be topping up and buying more of it than planned like I did. I've gone thru 4kg total of the SHORT 1-part food, and my 3rd order just came in today which gets me started for my Jack Herer's that I have vegging in my VEG room now, and will be placed into this flower room when I cut down the OG Kush.

Thanks for following everyone,

****DAY 45 FLOWER****

Also I've been running my "bottled" CO2 @ 1000ppm all thru Flower and been dumping my room once a day for 15 minutes. This has been working awesome over the "burners" I've previously used for my rooms.

The amount of resin and sugar on this grow is insane for the start of week 7 :) I'm very happy with the 1-part program :) great work indeed.... can't wait to sample this stuff in a month or and looks like it'll kick my ass :)

One last thing is for Dust :) Here's the EC readings each week I was trying to hit consistently throughout the 7 days between each system flush/refill.

Week 1 - 1.0ec

Week 2 - 1.2ec

Week 3 - 1.4ec

Week 4 - 1.6ec

Week 5 - 1.7ec

Week 6 - 2.0ec ***accididentally went a bit high :) was aiming for 1.8ec***

Week 7 - 1.5ec

Week 8 - 1.1ec

Last 3 days - 0.5ec water level lowered with cubes and rocks rinsed from the top to help flush

Hope everyone understood all the info to this point. I'll be posting Greenhouse Seeds "Jack Herer" grow journal later this week since they're already day 15 into VEG and hooked in nicely :)

Sorry for late replies Dust :) I didn't get hauled away or anything just slacked off and falling asleep on beaches for the last couple weeks. Been stoked on the 1-part food and I'm a true believer now. I might have to look into becoming the Canadian Distributor :) Even with me ordering online, it's in Vancouver in 5-6 days which is awesome.

Amazing set up brother !!

And look at those beautiful girls, They´re huge already. Seems like they love the climate you provided for them !

Blessings.

Thanks for the props bro. Glad you could stop by and look. The systems and rooms work awesome and make it easy for success :)

NICE MATE.... Hope you have enough room in there man to finish, cant wait to see the heading.

THURSDAY....

They definitely filled out on the sides and happy with the vertical growth which means I timed the kick perfect :) just have to remember to gut/prune them harder in the beginning but this was my 1st dance with this strain in this DWC system.

seriously jealous! haha but yeah girls are looking awesome mate!

Cheers bro. Appreciate the good vibes, my pops had fun helping my design this build :)

just wondering about the vertical bulbs. any negative affects?

nothing negative, just needs to be used on certain layouts and rooms. it only makes sense when you can drop them in between plants and your growing trees. otherwise shades and horizontal lighting is more efficient and better use of energy. I would have likes to use umbrella shades on these also to reflect as much light as possible, but unfortunately my A/C and fans moved and pushed them around too much because my ceiling height is too low (basement).

Overall, shades work :) Once the licenses end here in Canada then things will go back to smaller plants, shorter veg, more plants per light and the trees we've been doing for the past 7-8 years will not be done anymore...... except outdoors :)
