Cutting look sick

Hey Guys

Here is my Royal Blue Thai Cutting, and she isn't looking good. Or at least that's what I think. The new growth is also kinda brown at the tips.

Here is some back ground info on her conditions :

Pot Size : 10 inch round pot

Growing Medium : 50% Perlite 40% Compost 10% coco

Light Cycle : 20 on 4 off

Light : 85W CFL

Grow area : Indoor PC Tower

Temps : ON - 23C OFF - 20C (it was cold the past month while cutting was made)

Notes:

Soil was drenched completely until water drained out of the bottom. I waited for 10 min after 1st watering and drenched again. I then took the cutting and immediately placed in a shotglass off water to prevent air bubble. The water temps was 24C.

I then proceeded to dip it in Rooting Powder and then into the mix. I used to use DIY humidty domes but found that my cuttings rooted well with AND without them. After that I placed the cuttings into the PC box. I did not position it directly under the bulb, because I didn't wanna stress the plant with to much light. It has worked in the past.

Any advice ???

6.8 seems ok.. i wouldnt think it was that...

but yeah, if the compost is a little 'hot' as in nutrient rich, it could be burning the new roots before they get a chance to grow.

normally youd use a stable medium for clones, jiffy pots or rockwool cubes as they dont have any nutrient value
