@laserx, Yeah it seems like smartpot does it job when it comes to having a good root system. Water still runs through the bottom if you wna make a flush so thats also good. I just rly love this smartpot. small size in shipment but damn, a 30gallon pot is pretty big. I cant wait to see the root system in there :D

@organicz, I have a 600watt philips master greenpower, normal version wich is 230v with a magnetic ELT ballast.

@ all others thx for the great support and interest in my grow.

I have now a spare 400w hps and 150watt hps sets laying around. Im thinking about adding preferably 400watt but tell me if i could First make sure i can handle the heat, would it then be benificial to the plants for harder buds ? So either a 400 or 150w i can add if it will make difference in the end.

Please tell me what you guys think ^^

Peace

My smart pots have arrived.  I ordered them from Amazon in Canada, all 10 delivered for only $78.00.  They look very well made, with handles on each side and support bands across the bottom.  I'm thinking my outdoor crops growing in these are going to be amazing with the roots no longer circling around the bottom of the pots, but developing in all directions.

SmartPots are not made to Grow weed and will not give u any advantage above tekkus... Im still wondering who started that mythos that lets so many ppl wast theyr money :(

SmartPots are made for Commpanys who sell Trees cause a Tree in a normal Pot has a really bad chance of worteling good when its planted in the Ground tahts why they invented the Smartpot, with the staight outwards going wortles it has a 99%of good stabil worteling in the Ground. It doesnt increaser groth nor yield notr anything else.

I've checked out a lot of videos on Youtube and done a lot of reading on growing sites and people are highly recommending these as they will give a better root mass, meaning the plants absorb food easier and quicker as well the roots get more air through the cloth pots.  I'll be doing another outdoor grow report this year so you can all follow along and see what results I get for yourselves.

It was worth scrolling down all those pics :) Thanks for the nice porn man, the ladies are doing very nice it seems, the SLH will take a little longer but seems to be building on some nice flowers also :)

But White Lemon and Kosher look the best for sure, frosty and hopefully tasty ;)

Have a good end of flowering man

Day 55 flowering. Green crack calyxes start to pop open and make new hairs, in the microscope some are still clear, most is milky and still very little few amber trichomes. Sry, out of batteries for picture. Im guessing from this stage maybe a day or 5 more until harvest ? :D

I'd run a small pre-harvest to check how the trichomes turn up, dry.

Found out that some strains turn amber during the drying/curing .. so waiting longer because of how the trichomes look is not ALWAYS the best idea. Best trust your guts ad once half or more of the white turns amber/red or brown ad the smell is wicked buds are sticky they are ready - but of course this is just my 2 cents.

But I never was wrong about when a plant was ready..and no complaints so far.

For exaple since I am out of smoke I cut threeside buds from that massive Jack herer bush and by looking at the stuff i think tis will be a great smoke even though I am in week 7 - Of course I wait lnger for the final harvest..just an observation. I prefer it a bit earlier tan a bit too late

again just my POV
