Continuing a strain

This may be a silly question and I hope I have posted in the correct place but here goes.

If one hypothetically  had a very stable, tried and true strain like Dj Short Blueberry for example. Grown from regular seed (non fem) if you allow a male to pollinate a female would you have the same quality? Would the seeds be pretty much the same as the one you purchased in its original pack or do i need to keep purchasing seeds from the breeder to keep the strain? I hope that makes sense

Hello buddy, yes your question make sense, none are stupid anyway.

Now in the case you have a strain X stable non feminised, meaning you have both male and female seeds from this particular Strain X and if you pollinise few female to keep going, you will have pretty much the same type of weed although we have to keep in mind that no strain are really stabilised and in time evolve and derive from the origin. So even in time if you keep on buying seeds of the same strain, eventually it will evolve from its original form as part of breeding process and evolution.

I hope I made sense and did talk a lot of garbage here. Lol
