frankenstein#2
Does anyone know if green incandescent lights are safe to use during the dark period so you can work in the dark I have seen "special" bulbs advertised in ht; but spending extra money for nothing seems impractical to me thoughts and comments please

ambertrichomez
Incandescent lighting whether using coloured glass or plain emit enough light to flash your plants if used in the dark period.Unlike green led lights that are designed for use in the dark period. These lights will allow you to check out your grow room and plants with out interrupting the photoperiod of your plants. although to be truthfull I don't go near the grow room at all during lights off so have no experience of using dark period lighting myself. http://youtu.be/Hm0d9wpGZfg
