Chemical Bride Strain Test Grow 2021

Recommended Posts

Time for a progress update on the 3 Chemical Bride girls at the end of week 9 of flowering.

On Wednesday the dirt in the root pouches was dry so I gave all of the plants 2 litres of water.

I was going to cut them and harvest this weekend coming, but due to the work and the weather, plus a job I am doing here on my Mum and Dad's house putting a real roof on what was a fake conservatory I decided it was best not to water the plants on Saturday and let them get well dry and harvest on Sunday.

The bud on the Chemical Bride and the Green House Cheese were nice and fat, it would have been nice to let them run longer and harvest next weekend, but doing it on Sunday means if the weather is good I can take advantage, if it is shyte I can sip a couple of lagers and smoke some collie an get red.

Before I started to harvest the plants I changed the carbon filter.

Here are some images I took of the girls as I harvested them.

Check out the smallest Chemical Bride which was the smallest of all four plants I did the least defoliation on her simply because she was so healthy and she has produced the fattest buds of all of the plants consistently from top of cola to the bottom.

The lower buds were actually covered by the fan leaves from nodes above yet they are nice an fat.

I watched a video on You Tube on physics and it was about light, all I can tell you is that it is true that even the bud under the fan leaves in shade were receiving light, like Jah its everywhere all at once, omnipresent as part of our environment. think about it even at night it is not totally dark down here because we have stars shining don on us from above.

Even in the remotest places from humanity and here in the supposed civiilsed world stars in the night sky shine down there is always light.

So for me I always try to keep the defoliation to a minimum, simply because they usually grow more fan leaves, so I leave well alone an let them grow fat bud, I just remove fan leaves that are going yellow.

As soon as the bud is dry I will do a smoke report.

Happy harvesting... 👍

Last Thursday the bud on the stalk was dry and snapped off the stalk so I decided it was time to trim all of the bud from the stalks and find out what the final yield from the plants was.

Here are some images I took.

The yield was, trim 21.6g, Chemical Bride buds 102g and Green House Cheese buds 30.4g

The Chemical Bride buds smell earthy and herby with a sour aspect to the smell, the taste when smoked is creamy and just like the smell of the buds, the vibe is nice and relaxing, but your mind is clear and focused, which is good if your active.
