What it means to be a Strain Hunter.

Recommended Posts

Hey John, seeing as you like a bit poetic prose here's one for you.

You’ve heard of football widows,

How they never see their men,

Well mine’s a hobby grower,

So times this stuff by ten.

He cleans and mixes in the bath

And our lecky bill’s a joke

I’m sick of finding perlite

When all I need’s a soak.

Improvements on his system,

A heater for his tank

No cash for shoes and handbags

Coz he’s nearly broke

But with all of this

The mess the stress

I wouldn’t change a thing

It’s worth it all to see his smile

The day his crop comes in

Strain hunting can take you to the tops of mountains and to the bottom of valleys. To the middle of nowhere or to a field by the side of a road. sometime even in you local neighbourhood, look at "Cheese" a clone only skunk pheno, that could have been lost but was brought to prominence through selective breeding. Now cheese is being crossed with other strains, to create new and exciting strains, blue cheese & exodus cheese for example. Where ever you go and what ever you grow a strain hunter keeps thier eyes open for that special genetic. Happy huntingteeth_smile.gif
