hairyflea Posted November 30, 2011 Share Posted November 30, 2011 Greetings from Canada!I am new to growing. I decided I needed a hobby and this is what I chose. Its quite fascinating going through the process of taking a seed and watching it all happen. Naturally, I've made a few mistakes but with the Green-O-Matic autoflowering plant, you still get something out of it. I'm currently growing my second Green-O-Matic (looking much better) but am looking to moving up to a Great White Shark in 2012. I have been using a small self contained hydroponic unit which does an adequate job, provided you only grow one plant at a time.I used to grow plants back in the day (early 1980's) and I am amazed at the advances that have been made since then. Seeds are now mostly feminized - I used to only get males. You Tube videos and online growing guides means there is a wealth of information out there so now the trick is to find the information that applies to me.I'm glad there are forums such as this. A quick look has already gleened some helpful tips and hints. I may never grow like Arjan and Franco but its kind of like sex or golf - you don't have to be particularly good at it to enjoy it.Happy growing!
