Iced Widow & White Lemon

The new clones is thriving and looks healthy. But it's only been two days. I also managed to get the pH up a bit, but would like it just a little bit higher, so I'll add a little more pH up to next feed. It has also been a very warm month so the temperature inside is about 27-28°C which makes it warmer in the tents. About 32-33°C during the day if I open the tent up a bit.

Iced Widow #1

Days in Flowering: 7 days
Food: Water with VitaPro 2 days & HESI Bloom Complex 1 day.

Height: 65cm

Soil temperature: 27,1°C

White Lemon #1

Height: 37cm (stopped?)
pH. 5.9
Soil Temperature: 29,3°C

White Lemon #2

Height: 32cm

Soil Temperature: 29,0°C

I will transplant and put White Lemon 1&2 in the flowering room tonight

The Iced Widow show a sign of something familiar, nitrogen deficiency? but I'm not sure why this is happening or if it is something that's the beginning of something that could be more problematic? The plants seem to thrive and the pH on the Iced Widow is now  around 5.5--5.8. Perhaps it's time for a flush again..

I have actually been thinking that, but then I read something about purple stems and have noticed purple on some stems + yellowing of leaves and that it could be nitrogen defiancy. But I can also be extra paranoid now heheh It's my children :)

I have flushed the plant, the purple on the stem is gone and it seems like it's the strain rather than any problems. I now believe that it at a few points during it's lifetime it change the fan leaves. because this is what happened in veg too when I thought it was a nutrition problem. And it's only the Iced Widow. The White Lemons are doing very well and I've only noticed yellowing on the lower leaves.

Building project complete (enough) :D

I have now moved the plants into the new, bigger room. Now there will be 2 x 250w hps, but as soon as I can afford I will invest in LED's.

It started with the closet I first was planning to grow in. But after trying to germinate and grow some seedlings I understood that it was to warm due to the size. It was very small. So I started to plan the build of my new growroom. It is 275 x 190cm and within that there's a veg room that measures 160 x 80cm. The total space for flowering is 190 x 160cm. The total height is 245cm. When I demolished the closet I found to my suprise a long lost pet. A spider, somthing I believe is a Mexican Redknee Tarantula. It was quiet chocking to find something that big and not native to Sweden. Anyway, a record warm summer lead to a slow tempo of building, but I actaually was done before my deadline (Aug 5th). The only things that remain is ventilation and finishing the veg room. But that's no hurry :)

The budding of the two white lemons has started for real and the first signs of trichomes has appeard on the iced widow. I am also happy to announce that all 8 of the white lemon clones made it and 3 are now transplanted and the others will be transplanted in short. Unfortunately I lost my camera in Amsterdam a few days ago, so no pics for now :/

Daaaamn that spider, when you say pet, you mean it was yours and you had lost it? And it was dead? looks dead at least haha ^^

And for the closet looks nice man! a real carpenter!

Now for the plants it does look very strange, In the time it appeared, the leaves touched were the top of the plant? Or the green leaves we see aboe the burned one were there too?

Have a good grow!

Nah, I never owned a pet, it must have been someone else who owned it before and I just found it all dry and dead xD

Thanks, I will continue to improve and find great solutions for the room :)

Well, a week has passed and the leaves have some yellow and brown spots, but it's the top ones, mostly! There is some yellowing on the lower fan leaves, but not more than it was before. Could it be that this strain has some genes that does this to the leaves? Because it has only been that Iced Widow, and the White Lemons I've treated exactly the same :/

No for sure it is not genetic trait, well not in the sense you mean, it is a genetic thing in the sense she needs a diferent regiment than the White lemon.

It happens on your higher leaves so it is one of immobile nutrient causing problem, if one of yoru product in a booster of anykind with low NPK values you can try to boost this a little bit, but it is very strange the way the burns look its like heat burns, but so much is it posible?

very strange burns. like scars. they increase? there are new leaves on healthy? You can take a picture of the back of the sheet on the light penetration? healthy and diseased leaves. Respect. you have used wooden boards for the construction of the room?

The problem has once stopped, some leaves just turned yellow or white, and then brown and fell off. Some leaves still got white burns but isn't developing anything else. My suspicion is the gnats and larvae that got some of the roots. Next round I'm adding expanded clay aggregate above the soil.

Some new pics then :)

Not much time left on the Iced Widow!

I now have 8 White Lemon clones + 1 unknown and has now added 1 Ak47 auto.

The white lemon clones is almost ready. I'll clone them today and hopefully put them in the floweringroom next week.

The harvest was almost as small as I guessed before.. because of the bad lights. 50 grams of dried bud is now in curing. But I think it will taste awsome!

I've added additional lights. So from 250w -> 1100w I hope to get a little bigger harvest.

Oh how I love White Lemon! When I break it, it smells like I just cut a lemon and it really stick in the nose. And after a few joints my home smells just like a regular coffeshop in Amsterdam (according to a few friends) which is an awesome grade with all the shit we get here other times. I am officially in love with growing this!
