Hi everyone, joined the site last night and loving every bit of it.

I am mahip from himachal pradesh, india....my state is known for producing some of the best cream as most of you would know by now after seeing the indian expedition of the great strain hunters....i have been smoking since quite a few years now and have smoked quite a variety ranging from cream to jungla to morroccan stuff (just once though) and many varieties of weed as well. am currently studying in scotland and we usually get the red beard over here. i consider my self to be quite well versed with my knowledge about marijuana and would like to meet like minded people over here :)

i you wanna know anything more about me feel free to ask :)

thanks everyone... red beard is a variety of weed which am currently smoking here in perth, scotland...its got a reddish tinge in it so dats y d locals here call it the red beard...its quite potent...much of the stuff over here is quite high-breed i guess since all of it is grown indoors over here.. !!! just cant seem to get some cream here...the hash here is as hard as a stone no wonder they call it stone :( ...miss smoking cream...had plans to go to amsterdam n smoke some himachal cream but all my frends backed out :(( ...if anyone has any contacts near perth,scotland for some good soft cream please lemme know :)

It would be nice if you could give ussomenice pics of your region and products you've tasted you have it, or think about us next time you'll have some original stuff in scotland ;)

Yeah!! Welcome on the forum!! Luckey you!!! I wish i had that kinda hash over here... but only the poorest quality of them stones get here. To be honest i have never seen any soft hash for sale in my 12 years of smoking in my country, so i am pretty jaleous!! :D If u need any help just shout! Please upload some pictures about the creams u get! Maybe u have some to share with us, also about your area, fields, but first of all about your plants!!! Happy growing!!! Do you have someone back home to treat your plants?? What is the legal situation like there... i guess noone gives a shit what u smoke anyway!

Purpose of Strain Hunters

Our planet is home to millions of species of animal and plants with their own habitat, and each plays a unique role in the perfect design of nature. Unfortunately many species of plants and animals are victim of uncontrolled human development. The sole intent of Strain Hunters is to identify, locate and retrieve cannabis landraces that have not yet been studied, in order to give scientists and doctors the possibility to further enhance knowledge of the cannabis plant in the medicinal field.


Preservation of Landraces

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.

Cannabis should not be illegal


One of the goals of the United Nations, published years ago in official reports, was to wipe out the cannabis plant from the face of the earth by the year 2010. In reality this is far from being achieved, because man keeps using the cannabis plant for religious, medicinal and recreational purposes no matter what the law says. Most cultures cannot comprehend how a plant can be made illegal. In most people’s perception, plants and animals stand above a status of legality or illegality, they just exist in a higher design of nature that goes beyond human laws and regulations.

Nevertheless most governments of cannabis- producing countries are implementing drastic measures to destroy crops. Dangerous chemicals are sprayed over fields and over the farmers themselves in most of the third world countries, and the poorest people of the planet are the ones paying the highest price for cultivating a plant that does not kill. But in the economy of scale, where demand dictates supply, the poorest people of the planet have no choice but to cultivate cannabis as a cash crop to feed their children and send them to school. Communities that are isolated in remote areas in the poorest regions of the planet are often the keepers of very special landraces.
