First Euro Grow

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, Haven't been around in awhile but coming back strong. I have some free time this summer so I am starting my first grow here in the Netherlands. I'm growing one Sweet Mango Auto and one Super Lemon Haze. This is more of a trial run, and maybe a couple more on the next run. My grow is going to be very simple. I am attempting to grow by just sunlight. Seeds have popped and are sitting in 2 little cups of soil. Once they get going I will be moving them to 4L pots. Ya I know small, but I'm not going for quantity on this run. Would like to keep the pants small-ish to help keep out of sight. Might try LST I have seen some others on here do with SLH, we will see :) My plan is to grow the plants in my back yard. If any of you live in the Netherlands you understand the need to keep the plants small. Decent size yard for here, but very easy for neighbors to notice something :) I do have a shed and a 400W HPS lamp if I need to move them though.

I will be adding pics once there is some green goodness to show. Right now just waiting on the little beauties to bless us with their presence!

Any thing anyone wants to add, warnings, suggestiongs, please feel free. The grow is very basic at the moment but I don't mind trying new things :)

Also can anyone give me an idea on how big I should expect the plants and how heavy of a smell I will looking at? Thanks for everything and here's top hoping this is the start of a high quality grow!

Thanks for the support everyone! SLH poped through the soil already and the SMA is just a little behind but should be standing tall by the end of todays sun! I haven't done any heavy watering yet, don't want to drowned the babies. I am home now. So they are getting a few squirts of rain water ever every 3-4 hours or so. So far so good! Hope to have some good pics soon for everyone please.

Note: I decided with the Dutch summer being so off and on with the sun I converted a coat closet with some reflective material and am looking for a nice LED Grow light in there in case the clouds block up all my sun shine.

Tokage, I'm only growing in 4L pots. Trying to keep the size reasonable with unfamiliar strains to me. Yield isn't too important for me on this grow. I'm hoping to get a very nice natural finished product. If I get 10-15 grams dried off each plant I will be very happy :D

It might be a bit late for the regular strains, but on the other hand: maybe I'm just early with germinating the seeds (I start by the end of March). Autoflower could very well work out just fine, though. And as far as the weather conditions in our lovely Dutch summers are concerned - people have been growing the herb for centuries in places like the Himalaya, and it can get pretty wet and chilly there as well. So I wouldn't worry too much about that. The ganja is a strong lady.

Evening everyone, thought I would drop in with a couple photos from today. Pretty standard so far, water and lots of sunlight. Or as much as I can manage to get :)

The SLH is taller so far, but overall leaf span is nearly identical on the 2 plants at 6 CM. Another week down and everything is green and growing!

I have the Sweet Mango Auto Strain going right now. So that's the one I was wondering the start to finish time on.

Thanks for the positive feed back guys! The girls are getting taller and starting to really develop. They went from more of a skunky smell last week, to a more sweet grass smell this week. We also had a few days of good sun, especially today. Girls worked on their tans all day ;) Here are a few photos,

Sweet Mango already flowering- How old is she ? Another 6 to maximim 8 weeks and they're down. I would exoect 3 month and a couple days from seed soaking to cutting with Green house Autos but It might be faster with better lights and to conditions.

Your girls look very very healthy and have a nice dark green.

Good JOB.

You plan on putting them outside when the sun is hot ?

Most days they sit in my attic under a well placed sun roof that allows them to catch sun almost the entire day. When I'm home and it's really nice out like today I stick them right out in the yard.

I was surprised to see a bud forming on the main kola as well on the SMA. Shes about 4 weeks since she sprouted out of the ground I believe.

Morning to all! Back for a little update on my two little girls. Sweet Mango Auto is really cruising right along. Has been really fun to watch her develop. Good amount of sun this week. Girls where out in the garden. Got a little hot one day and damage one of the lower leaves, but it rebounded nicely after a nice soaking.

@Tokage, ask and you shall receive!
