i've had this thinking once and din't end up looking more about it, but i'm not sure if the air climatizer don't have any residue that could be bad for the plants it's a little risky i think, try on one ;)

I agree with Solimbum.  Air conditioning systems do tend to harbor unwanted fungus and bacteria. (Remember the Legionnaires Disease?)

 

Additionally, the water is condensing onto a metallic surface, therefore there will certainly be some molecules from that metal released into the condensed water.

 

Most AC cooling fins are aluminum, but there may also be other metals involved in the system, such as solder or galvanized films that may contain lead or copper.

 

Do you really want to play around with unknown levels of various metals in your smoking materials?
