I just wanna see how my first grow goes. I saw somewhere that the whole grow period was about 10 weeks. I think it might have been a strain hunters video on youtube. I believe they did it in 8 or so, but they said normally its 10 weeks. I just wanna know what I have to do so I can be prepared for the changes you know?

Nice plants friend to be your first crop is doing very well, congratulations  ;)

The minimum time of growth that usually occurs (not law, but is normal) is four or five weeks. If you want bigger plants, you can give more time growing smoothly, all time you want.

If you want a final height (for harvest) six feet, you should give an approximate growth of two feet and a half or three feet.  When you have three feet high, the plants spend flroacion cycle (12h light / 12 hours dark). The plant will grow twice or slightly more, of their height. In eight or nine weeks flowering  will be completed and you can reap.

The time you want to give the grow cycle is only proportional to the height you want for your plants :)

Regards

Ok so for the past 2 days I have seen a worm eating one of my leaves. It was eating my smaller plant. I picked it off and killed it and throught that would be the end of it. Next day same deal, I killed that one also. Today I went to a local store and asked for something to kill caterpillars from my plants. This older guy gave me something called Sevin Dust. When i got home and looked it up on the web I read that its banned in many states and kills just about all bugs as well as causes cancer and other problems for everything it touches. I returned it and picked up this http://www.saferbrand.com/store/garden-care/5163    I'll show u the damage to my small plant.

Also today I looked at my top plant and I see some specks forming. Should I be worried about this? I fed yesterday with a little more then half strength, in water of 6.0.

Alright, so I noticed those white spots before and no one really said anything. Today found this little white flying bug on my plant, I blew it away and it came back. So I gently moved my leaves and I saw two of them come out and fly away. I took some pictures and I looked it up online. I believe they are whiteflies.  So I ordered some Neem oil spray. Also notice that one a few leaves the tips are starting to brown. What is that telling me?

Thank you Turk, I think i'm going to get some bloom food, then set a few things up before I flower. Plus I had this little battle with white flies that should be done soon. I don't want to bring them into flower if they're not at 100%. I also need to read up on flowering and all that stuff. I'm sure the plants are ready but I'm not and I dont want to mess up lol

Its been a while I had family stay over. Last week I started the flowering process, but I noticed that the leaves near the bottom of the plant are starting to go bad. I feel like its a light problem. The other leaves block out the ones from the base and they fall off slowly. I notice the plant is spreading out more and it now reaches my chest. So I think they're near 4ft tall.

Can you guys tell me what I should be doing as for flowering the first week. Should I plan to do a flush soon? I did pick up new food that is for bloom but I have not used it yet. I am also checking for the sex every day, I think I saw a small white strand today on the top of one but I'll wait a day to see how it develops. Please give me advice as to what I have to do in the up coming weeks lol. Thanks all

Dont worry too much if you have 1 or 2 of the lower leaves that dies it is not a real problem for the plant and kind of normal when they start to become big :)

For your nutrient you should keep on the veg nutrient until the plants starts to develop real flowers, so i usually wait 1 or 2 week after flowering to strat to put slowly the blooming one.

It seems like they are growing fast now, good stretch and then good flowers ;)

Have a good grow man
