hey man , the plant's are doing great!!! i am excited to get to see more of this afgooey strain i love the strain but havent seen very many plant's in full flower so do use proud man. but thing's are looking great so far.

if i could give you one word of advice tho , i notice that your plat's do have a considerable amount of stretch happening inbetween the internode's and since you have nice size fan going in your space, i think that lowering your light some will help make thing's more bushy and combat some of the stretch in the picture's it look's like the light is very far away for a 250 W hps idealy with a light of that size you would wanna keep your canopy around no more then 6 inchs from the bulb. for exsample i use a 400W light and in this picture my plant's are ruffly the same age as your's.

contestupdateday26031_zps18232242.jpg

the closer the plant's to the light the more direct energy they are getting and it goes a long way to hold back any strechinng and keeping the internode's as tighet as your set up will allow for. but yeah aside from that the grow is going great man really nice work!! i hopeyou enjoy the afgooye i know it was the strain i was hoping to get but i am happy with the white lemon. but i am crossing my finger's that green hosue will release this strain because it's a great one.

afgooey i believe is afghani #1 X maui haze encase you where wondering but i am not 100% sure on that it is a really frosty one tho. and please don't take my advise the wrong way your grow is going great and your plant's look wonderful i just figured i would chim in my 2 cent's because i wanna see everyone get the best yeild's possible out of there set up. good luck with the rest of the grow and stay safe!!!

Brother, first of all thank you very much for the advice, I could never be angry, I'm here to learn from those who know and offer my humble knowledge to those who need.

Second, about to the distance between nodes, I've noticed, but the error was in the stage of vegetation, as it was the first time I used the mercury halogen bulb and was afraid of burning the plants, but it's all experience and next time I hope I will do better! This is the first week of flowering, that is why i decided to keep a distance of 30 cm with the bulb, for fear of stress by the change of light, but next Monday ill bring down the bulb.

Thirdly, sory for my really bad english lol!

Bueno Humos mi hermano!

hey man i can understand being cautious there's nothing worse then burning plants by accident, but the plant look really healthy. its smart to slowly lower them like you said but once you lower them you will see the newer growth will have a shorter distance between nodes and it will also help kick up the lateral branch growth. alot of weight is gained just by having really well developed side branchs.

i don't know if you have ever seen this it;s a chart that show's you how much light your plats are getting by inch and how room of optimal light you have , i always try to keep all bud shoots or sites within the range they specify and they chart ourt each different bulb size.

i found this chart to be really helpful personally maybe you will find it useful.

I once go down to 12 cm, u got yaks they can handle little bigger temps, but enyway drop and fan blowing on tops and lamp it be fine and u get more penetration of light. Oh, u can start 12/12 on mh too for week or so. They like that spectrum at that stage too. ;)

Ill try next time, thanks! :)

Uy pobres chichis.

tell us how much nutrient you give them, could be some burns. And also like GastonHaze asked tell us your PH and watering schedule

good luck

Guys the pH i use to irrigate is between 6.5 and 7.5, soi don't think that is it, does not look like mushroom and lack either. I think it might be over-fertilization (give them power feeding + and phito s3 foliar once a week and trichodermas + Phito gro once a week too). And if not, what other thought is that before I gave them Phito fos foliar and perhaps gave more than they should.

well for me i think more of overfeeding, maybe a shrooms but i don't know i'm not a shroom expert ^^

Try to give them a lil flush and see how they react, and also try to keep the PH under 7.

good luck!

I brin new photos of the girls! They begin to have pistils everywhere, small but promising! I notice that the branches are smaller than the other genetics.

Guys sorry for the delay but I had gone on a trip, here I bring pictures of girls in their third week of photoperiod 12/12, as you can see they are beautiful! Although I insist that I see little yielding to Afgooey. After the last transplant i gave them only Power Feeding + trichodermas, and today I will give "molasses" (Google traductor from "Melaza de Caña"), but should have given before but not getting it anywhere. Hope you like the status of girls! Buenos Smokes for everyone!.
