yeah definately mold or budrot. look's bad tho alot of spore's once you see webbing of that degree honestly next time insted of opening it and taking picture's if i where you the second you see it take a plastic bag cover the branch and tie it off them cut the hole branch off and take it out of the room as quick as possible. what ever you do tho be really cautious of smoking anything off that plant you will find more mold during the drying process and if any mositure is left you will probably find more during the cureing and smoking weed with mold spore's on it can cause some serious respiratory problem's.

sorry that happened to you tho bro. i hope the rest of the crop is fine. my guess is that inall likelyhod that occured because of ether high humidity or lack of proper air flow and exchange also possible due to colder tempurature's generally at night time ( did you possibly keep your fan's off at night at all?). but i have also had a theory about mold and rot found in late flowering. even in your picture's i see it that i seem's as iff the rot started around the preflower, my theory is that in late flowering when the preflower's die if too much moisture is locked in that area the preflower will rot and eventually spread. you also see this when a fan leaves stem get's damaged rot occur's in the area near the stem and speard's outward but i don't know for sure because i really don't have all the much experiences with it first hand i dedliberatly keep my airflow on the high side and my humidity somewhat down to avoid the problem as best as possible.

anyway's bro i am sorry to see that happen to such nice looking bud's but when it come's to growing we all go through these hard lesson's from time to time all we can do is learn from the mistake's and i commend you for actually posting it and not just abandoning your journal as it can be useful for other's to learn from as well. hopefully in the future you have better luck i look forward to finding out ow the rest of your crop fair's

sorry to hear bro! i hope you will not find too mch in the plat! what was the humidity where the plants were?

Have a good end of grow i hope the smoke will still make you happy ;)we have a thread somewhere that explains how to wash buds infected by some disease like the powdery mildew, could work for this too?? i wonder! think it was a peroxyde bath basically.. if anyone knows let us know

I´m sorry too my friends, so sad :( Dust, i think the humidity was the responsable for the disease. Humidity was around 60-65% last days. I tried to remove as much as possible, hope to save some good flowers becouse, trust me my friends, that Caboose was AMAZING!

Saludos amigos!

Finally the Caboose 1 was harvested after 48 days of flora due to fungi. It is really a shame because the plant was really beautiful, with extremely hard and compact buds (maybe that's in addition to moisture, one of the problems that caused the fungi)

Since yesterday found hanging and drying. I tried to remove as much of fungi possible. Soon i will probably do a wash with water and 5% hydrogen peroxide as I have understood, Mr Jorge Cervantes shows it in one of his videos and comments that it is a good method to kill fungi. Anyone knows about that?

Thanks friends, and soon I will upload photos of Caboose 2, she continues in the race and thankfully looks very healthy so far.

Nice looking but soo little. Don't know what is wrong with the genetics but recenly I had those dwarves too. Under half a meter yielding anywhere from 5 to 22 grams , not worth the effort imo. Sorry about that funghi. toss out the whole plant affected, hazardous to your health. Better luck next time.

May you like the smoke. Quality is good at least.

Ah man I had fungus my very first grow thanks to a leak that got under my grow tent..not fun..but we learn and move forward :) Still, very sorry to hear :( :( I hope that you are able to salvage some clean good bud, but please be careful as others have said, smoking fungus can be dangerous. I also looked at and tried Jorge Cervantes hydrogen peroxide method with mixed results..it seemed to work well to get rid of the fungus, but bud quality was not that great..BUT to be fair I don't think the plant was top quality grown to begin with..beginner and all :P You could also try water/ice extraction hash..I did that with the 2nd plant out of 4 that had fungus and it turned out awesome with no issues. BUT..again some people will say throw it out..and they could be right too :P Hard to say. All the best and I hope as Dust said the smoke will still be nice..and sweet as she looks  All the best!

Peace

Saludos amigos!!

Here I come to bring the news of the girl Caboose 2. Today May 6 is the 56 days of flora. It looks beautiful, without a trace of fungi thankfully.

The last week received molasses (k) and bat guano (P). She smell sweet, perhaps not as strong as her fungi sister lol :) , but sweet and nice.

Saludos amigos!

I come to give you the latest news of my beautiful Caboose 2. Today May 13 is the 63 th day of flora. We reached the end :) ! Unfortunately as you know, I suffered from fungis that practically ruined the Caboose 1. The Caboose 2 came in very handy but few days ago I saw signs of fungus so I apply a product against fungi and really worked great!

The Caboose 2 just got a root washing so surely within the next two days will be harvested. During the last 10 days started pulling very nice violet colors. It smells strong and spicy, not as sweet as the middle of the flora.

As you can see, although the plant was too small, has a beautiful and resin exploited!

Día de cosecha!!

Saludos amigos!

Greetings friends! Today May 14 was the day of harvest of beautiful Caboose 2. As you will see in the pictures, began to throw beautiful violet colors. Unfortunately also had some principle of fungi but all the infected parts were removed and the plant was treated with an anti-fungal.

Honestly plant resulted beautiful, phenomenal! Very producer of resin from the first 3 weeks of flowering with a very strong sweet smell during the beginning and middle of flora, passing not smell so sweet and a little spice towards the end of flowering. Worth mentioning the beautiful violet colors begin to appear at the end of the flora, indeed gives the plants some beautiful details.

Unfortunately it was not very productive in terms of the number of flowers but remember that the pot was not big (5-liter pot).

I am very happy and very grateful to the people of Green House Seed and Strainhunters for giving me the opportunity to have walked this beautiful road next to my beautiful Caboose.

Good luck and best smoke for all of you, and THANK YOU everyone for coming and visiting my plants!

I like the plant you harvested The crown on top of that one bud is a sight to see nice colors as well. Not bad bud development - That is always nice with GHS strains. Even if somehow reduced in growth it still packs up some fat buds, so that all the work was not futile..Enjoy the fruits and better luck next time.

BTW a nice journal with excelllent picture quality and bilingual on top.

Despite the problems I had, i truly enjoy growing these beautiful plants. Later tonight I'll upload the latest photos of some buds and a report of the smoke, flavor and smell.
