Bam-Bhole Posted December 12, 2012 Author Share Posted December 12, 2012 Thanks folks - After a very close inspection incl measuring the plants I think I can harvest the Haze in 2 weeks , so I should be settled wiith a good smoke till the Damnesia are ready, I hate to rush things that grow naturally and need their time..Okay the data from top of soil surface to top of bud or plant - between 48 and 81 cm. Talle is the tallest with already 81 centimeter, Ralle follows with 78 and Kalle is 73 cm tall. They all measured to the top cola. Malle + Walle are still more of the bushy type and I measured Malle at 53 and Wale at 48 centimeter. Last time i saw the first try damnesia was it cute, now we have a real plant with some nice little buds.Cant wait to see how she turns out. I would love to know how long they flower if there's any doing the job quicker... I also have 9 of 10 growing nicely, so far so good... some differences already visible! The times I needed so far vary from 4 and a half all in all for the first Jack Herer, a monster of a plant and a wonderful smoke to a bit over 3 months with the female seeds strains - Grapefruit, X-Line C#99 , Bubblegummer. Greenhouse genetics took me 2 to 3 weeks longer, even the Automatics were not really faster over all. I let one plant sit till it was a real monster The Big Bang and more than 25% amber and hated the smell + taste. My fave was the White Widow picked at 7 weeks in flower and 3. 5 months in total. Not much yield, though but best taste and crazy mad high ! So yeah overall I don't rush my plats I would say. I guess it is the extra time under T5 Neon that pro-longe the VEG time.Maybe others count the start of flowering different, too.Anyway - The girls are getting somewhere but there is only one plant I think will be def. ready for christmas. The Haze can sit a week longer unless it shouts Reap Me ! Trust your guts when it come to plants is my motto.1 plant is all I need this year, so i can smoke some for Sylvester night / new year and not run out of weed.Will take some pix tonight or tomorrow; TALLE is a big boy by now with a lot of ping pong buds everywhere..nice plants no doubt. One is taller (TALLE ) while RALLE is a little bit behind and arguably a bit more bushy, Kalle was planted 10 days later, so it is of course not as far as the bigger brothers. Picking up fast, though. Walle is again of the bushy type while Malle is the smallest and not as bushy as the others .They all show the same leave types and characteristics , maybe later in flowering ? This flushing really helped to bring the flowering to shift gears. I just took pictures from Talle, Ralle + Kalle. on the second last picture you can see Talle in front of the Tropical Ice , that will be cut down this weeks. If you check the buds you can see they are ready soon - not far from the end of their natural grow cycle. Darker and more widened up. look related somehow though (probably the Haze). i just love the leave structure, size and color of this fine Damnesia strain.On superficial looks the buds do not look so far ahead but it is more than 3 or 4 weeks that this plant is ahead in flowering time. i find it fascinating to see the same ballsy buds on each side of the stem.Look and judge for yourself !TALLE,RALLE,KALLE 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bam-Bhole Posted December 18, 2012 Author Share Posted December 18, 2012 My goodness - look what I just found..Been trimming a whole leap of leaves and checked for a carton box to dry it and inside a mass of dry paper was this pressed up paper bag.. - opened it up and WOW what nice colors, then that smell. I think it is bubblegum. thought it is trim, but no BUDS - Couldn't think of a better timing unless it was christmas evening or morning lol. Have not weighed it yet but more than half an ounce for sure..20 grams perfectly cured dry weed - a smell that remins e of jamaican sensi - coffeeshop quality easily. Not a tad on the mouldy side, just that readily cured aroma of THC with the bubblegum / C'99 aroma. Bam-Bhole Posted December 19, 2012 Author Share Posted December 19, 2012 Hi Dust !I can only imagine that is what happens when you grow 5 or 6 strains at the same time and reap a bit everday - you just cannot put all stuff together and with each new harvest the main interest shifts... Anyway - this was the best that could happen to me. I had 2 Bubblegumers with very different phenos one got that pink chewing gum flavor one looked more like a Bonsai tree and was a favorite of mine - that got harvested very early after the Autos and to avoid mix up and to cure it real good I stahed most of it - a good ounce after drying for long term curing. Why I forgot that.. well blame it on smoking since 40 years...lol.Now i do know why Greenhouse is so strict on the drying + curing process and why it is important to stash it away in paperbags in a climate controlled room for 3 to 5 month. Only then you get the best smoke ! Now I know that this is nothing but the truth..The stuff was diirectly beside my bed in a record carton with lots of more paper inside to cover it - soo it was in a dry and only modestly warm room with proper ventilation but in the dark and untouched for 14 to 18 weeks roughly.The results speak for themselvesPlease doubleclick on the following pictures to see the beautiful sugar coating - no mold no nothing, just pure dry + properly cured weed, that tastes wonderful. Okay you lose 30 percent weight easily, but if you want it for your own medicine it is worth it !Usually I am a bud lover, but now it is the shake I want first for my own supply. Must share some with my buddies for christmas - Imagine their looks when I tell them i just found 20 gram High grade..lolSanta Claus i hear ya coming !Regarding why I don't show the Damnesia more often. I want to surprise the reader not bore him with just small progress. The rules said something about once every two weeks and I am in around 1 week or so. Did some hair cutting on the boys, wanna try out if that helps getting bigger buds or not. I know it is a bit early to do so but why not take a chance.. I like them leaves too; but the buds get more light now.Thanks for the nice comments everybody . Haze + at least 1 Tropical ice are ready - done flushed them with a light flush and some CANNA FLUSH.Same time soaked 3 new seeds - 2 C'99 and on of my own Misterion seeds. For all of that - harvesting, new life etc. I will open a second grow journal soon.That way I keep this down to the Cup grow.The buds of the Damnesia are already full of crystals end of week 4 i would say.
